Idk, Jim Lee Rogue is my favorite but I’d take several more versions of her. Need that green version for the modern shelf. Would have liked a hooded head and maybe the cape but it’s fine. I see they zipped up her cleavage from the ROML one we never got. I do think that people selling Jim Lee Rogue are only doing so because they think a reissue is coming. Either they are dumping their extras while they think the price is high or selling there’s hoping to rebuy.
I can only hope another Jim Lee Rogue is on the horizon. I admit I briefly considered getting this green Rogue just to have Rogue on my shelf...but she just isn’t the one I want and she would only ever be a placeholder for me. I might as well just hold out.
I think my issue with Pyro is that he just seems too bulky. But the Pyro in the comic is always drawn (match)stick-skinny.

I've been waiting for this Rogue or the Uncanny Avengers one for a while and wanted it much more than the juggernaut wave Jim Lee version.
You know what supervir2, your Spider-Man display inspired me to do what I do on some of my top Figuarts detolf shelves and I decided to take three of my six cases and make one giant X-Men battle scene. I might do the same with the other 3 for Spider-Man and have my static poses for all of the lower shelves like normal. For future planning, I'm going to put Black Tom below Nightcrawler since my idea is to have NC jumping off his shoulder or something and both Thunderbird and Storm will be going into the case with Apocalypse. Also going to get another piece of balsa wood to break up for the Apocalypse battle scene.
Hmmm, new Pyro is too bulky and the Toy Biz one was too lanky. It will be, it’s a rolling integration/experiment. For Rogue, it did help that the elbows on most ML females in the past few years already were pinless so the arms and hands were probably from existing tooling.
That poor star wars guy is looking around thinking "These guys don't look like any stormtroopers I have very seen".
The Rogue and Pyro two-pack looks nice. That said Pyro is a bit buff... should have been on one of the slimmer bodies. I do like this Rogue, but not sure why this version of her is being packed with Pyro, but then the Nimrod, Psylocke, Fantomex set doesn't make any thematical sense either. Go figure. I'm down for both figures and she'll be a good stand-in on my display until they reissue 90's Rogue since mine took a dive and broke and I'm not paying eBay prices for her... especially if the new version seems to be getting an accessory I wish Hasbro had included with the original.
Not crazy about the $50 pricing - I'm not seeing the added value to justify a 25% increase in price. There's so much coming out on 01 NOV that I'm holding off on this release. I'm not so unhappy with my ToyBiz Pyro that I **need** to buy the Hasbro version. If the $25 price is here to stay, I think I'll be content with my completed Blue/Gold team and mostly complete 90s-era X-Teams and tap out on the line. It's not that I can't afford to pay $25 a figure; it's just that I can't justify the price. Especially, when GI Joe have better articulation and accessories (except Roadblock) for $20.
I am hoping that $25 isn't the new standard. Hasbro has to realize they are competing with themselves on gi joe and with mcfarlane now still at $20. If they stay at $25 I will begin cherry picking more and buying waves less. But to be honest mcfarlane reveals from stay at home con or whatever this was called were so much better than the legends stuff this year I think a lot of funds will be going there for the remainder of the year and 2021. Hasbro can definitely win me back if they finish some major 90s teams like Excalibur and xforce.
I like that Rogue, but I don't like Rogue enough to pay 50 bucks for her and *checks notes* some guy. Maybe they will retool it into the uncanny suit and sell it standalone soon.
Yeah, Pyro is kind of a major X villain so I'm sure he'll be easy to sell off if you're the one weirdo that doesn't want him.
