This is the first I've heard of Nimrod not being just a single packed figure like the Giant Man and Apocalypse BAF reissues. Listing showed up on Amazon France about 3 months ago. Similarly, I don't recall hearing anything at Toyfair about Storm and Thunderbird being packed together. Kind of makes sense because they're both from the Giant Sized team, but that sure wasn't how Thunderbird dressed. The Rogue/Pyro set has been trickling around for a couple days, we could see that as soon as Friday when Walmart does their presentation I've been hearing about.
Being the only character in the FXCU with a decent team costume, she wouldn't be the worst army builder depending on the size of her head socket. A little paint, for the next possibly a different belt (unless you're doing, say, New Mutants Magik) and you're in good shape. I hope they circle back around for Colossus eventually. It's kind of funny that this 20th Anniversary assortment only celebrates 5 of the 12 movies. Edit: actually Erik had a different suit in Age of Apocalypse, so it's a nice round half of the movies.
Yeah, I think they are trying to avoid "the stinkers". I won't lie, i'd buy a build a figure Fox Silver Samurai. Also, a movie-accurate Logan from the Tanktop wolverine would be AWESOME!
Any word on what version of Psylocke is in that Amazon set? I was not impressed with the last release.
At least it's the same shitty Thanos BAF, as opposed to the IW one that had the 3-pack colors. It's a nice way to reissue Worthy Cap, too. That would be something. Edit 2: I'm 99% sure that Thor's Stormbreaker has a different handle than the original.
Going to guess probably not, buuuut the original hid the hammer behind the shield in the packaging, so maybe. It would be a nice bonus for a "Greatest Hits" to be able to pair Thor with his hammer one more time.
