I'm mostly hoping they will reveal the Fan Vote Winner.
Was Silk, wasnt it?
Not sure. I wasn't here when they announced it. Either Silk, Elektra, or Sif.

So, Sentinel Or the Biggest BAF ever?
It's also good to see that Fan Firsts are still going despite the [email protected] in 2 weeks.
Yeah, I'm not a fan of how he looks with the glasses. He wore glasses for such a short period of time in the comics, it's really weird to me that we didn't get a glasses-free head. (Not counting the Half Peter/Half Spiderman head. I think that's a great head, but I don't think it's asking too much to have a third head. There's no baf with this figure after all, and it's the same $20. If it had a glasses free head designed to look like the Romita Peter, I'd buy this figure, but without it, I am passing.
Test drove the 2020 model with free upgraded repulsors.
Either would be acceptable!
Or even the ToyBiz Peter Parker deco. I remember getting him in a two-pack with Civvy Wolverine.
Which reminds me, I still want one of those. X-Men TAS style Logan.
Does BBTS tend to get their preorders earlier than other online retailers?
Man, who tucks t shirts into their trousers.
On re watching that Spidey animated series recently, I was glad that polo shirt doesn’t turn up in that many episodes. Oh yeah, and that the show had aged really well (better than the x men cartoon? Is that heresy?).
Really? I thought Spider-Man aged horribly while X-Men's first 4 seasons aged pretty well. Spider-Man's animation was so choppy thanks to the CGI crap and the constant use of stock footage. Not to mention Peter's over the top acting (MARY JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANE!).
In my experience they haven’t in the past. I’m pretty surprised by this. Pulse hasn’t shipped mine at all yet.
I was never a fan of the animation style of the X-men cartoon. The stories were pretty decent and it had a fantastic theme song though. If they update the theme for the new MCU X-men films everyone would go bonkers.
My favorite Spider-Man cartoon was probably Spectacular Spider-Man. It helped that the character designs were all done by an artist I had been following as his career was just blossoming.
That spidey vs the Sinister 6 scene in Spectacular Spider-man was straight fire.
I would Love, Love, Love! if the Fox theme music was worked into the MCU movies!
Yeah, I'm also surprised at the fact that BBTS has gotten the Spidey wave first.
I miss Spectacular. I loved how every villain was pretty much shown before they became a villain. Not to mention Steve Blum's Green Goblin was fantastic.
While I agree that for me, X-Men has aged much better than Spider-Man, the X-Men had its own share of over the top acting as well - (JEEEEAAANNNNN!)
Spectacular was amazing! It's definitely a show that could use a revival like so many other shows are getting.
With the MCU now realizing how impactful music can be, let's hope they decide to put that or some semblance of it into the movies. I was really happy they manage to incorporate the 60s classic Spider-man theme into the MCU. Considering the 90s X-Men music is probably the most iconic theme related to the X-Men, I would think there's a huge chance it shows up in one form or another.
Oh for sure it'll be a travesty if they don't use the old X-Men theme in the MCU films.
I'm picturing my head all of those impactful Avengers scenes where the Avengers theme crescendos and then instead picturing something similar for the X-Men and then "Bum bum bum bum bum bum - Dee dee dee dee dee dee..." starting up.
Shit, people in the auditorium would have goosebumps.
If you haven't read the "Previously on X-Men" book about the making of the show, I would totally recommend it. It was pretty cool hearing how the sausage was made. Heck, I had always thought that "One Man's Worth" had been inspired by AoA, when it was in fact the other way around. Crazy stuff.
