Again, I think you are fixated on the weight/package size and that's not a limitation. What they did was put in an estimate there and I assure you they aren't married to it. That stuff can easily shift in production. For all we know they don't even have a packaging mock up at this stage of development. Companies don't work on absolute projections. They come up with what they think is realistic but realize that it's a range that they are willing to accept. I guarantee you production/fulfillment costs are nowhere near $350 on this. They likely shot high for a reason. It's also not a rigid profit margin as stuff always changes during the process. They may start hoping for a 40% profit margin but end up with 50% or 15%. Some projects lose money but that is rare and near impossible when you've pre-sold all your units. Hasbro did what every company tries to do and set a price as high as they think the market will bear. Again, give how fast it was funded maybe they actually aimed low on that. They already set a range of production cost that they want to achieve given the sale price they put forward. It's not like they demand $100 profit per unit and will charge you more if costs overrun or refund you if cost savings arise. Fairly certain they would be for each sentinel you buy unless they clearly state otherwise. The 5 limit is only per transaction as I've seen people do multiple transactions already. If it was per transaction then people would just do a bunch of separate orders.
I might have to do this to or at least before the deadline in august. I know now isn't then but i got 3 compete sets of the toy biz sentinel wave for much less than half the cost of this thing.....
i guess additional human sentinel heads wouldn't be out of possibility but they would be sort of boring as incentives (even though I could see some, SOME, ordering enough multiples to make every variation...
Yes, you'll get all of everything each Sentinel should come with. You order one, you get one of each. Order five, get five of each.
Is the demand for Galactus really that high? I've never seen the appeal of the character, personally. Had the ToyBiz BAF but sold it. Passed on the 4" release from 2010. Sentinels do well because they have the 1-2 combo of X-Men being one of the most popular Marvel properties and them being army-builder capable. With Galactus, you only ever need 1 (2 if you want one MISB), and F4's popularity has certainly waned over the years. ML gave a us a recent F4 wave, but prior to that it was the staggered Walgreens exclusive releases preceded by the 2007-2008 era ML wave. I couldn't tell you on which number X-wave we're on in ML right now.
So I'm just curious, I'm not really a Marvel Legends collector (more of a DC guy), I've only got the 80th Thor (which I didn't think was that good), What's the deal with the Movie X-men figures? I remember seeing them a Toy Fair or two ago but haven't heard anything since. Thanks, -Danz
Give it some time now that the first family of Marvel is back under the umbrella of Disney for films. FF is the premiere team and Galactus is about as major as it gets. Yeah, most people don’t need to army build Galactus but most Marvel fans would not pass on an even bigger and better one. For me, I’d take it for sure but I’m still waiting for my MANGOG!
They’re for the 20th anniversary of the 1st Fox X-men movie, some are exclusives like the tank top Wolverine for Amazon
Definitely the same here. Only the ones I care about, so Magneto, Xaiver (may by 2 of each because I love both actors in each role), Leather Jacket Wolverine, and Deadpool. Cable, Domino, and Teen Warhead are SUPER easy passes.
I only want Prof X for the movie figures so I can have one on my Byrne/Cockrum shelf. Well, I really only want the wheel chair, but since I would also need to get a riders Prof X to place in it, the movie version is going to have to do, at least for now.
Long shot. Does anybody have a Sauron wave Bishop they would be willing to sell? Please message me. Thank you.
