A new wave of Marvel legends is starting to go up for Pre-order at some distributors/wholesalers along with some of the X-men 30th anniversary Sets. The Wave is titled “Best of X-men”. It includes 7 TBA figures and a BAF according to the product description. I don’t know if these figures are going to be reissues for specific markets or if they’re all brand new figures celebrating the anniversary.
Cool. That would be a good way to get reissues like 90's Rogue or regular Jim Lee Cyke or white Storm or blue Beast for anyone that might have missed them.
Hopefully cloth arm capes for Storm, the material Hasbro used for those on Storm since 2013 feels very cheap.
Eh, a wave titled "Best of X-Men" really isn't setting itself up for new figures to be released. It literally screams reissues.
It does seem odd for Peter to have an adult buck and Gwen/MJ to have a teenage buck - if I summarized the responses correctly. The Dude
Best of wave could be like the Best of MCU waves they were doing. Like the Giantman and Hulkbuster they had which was painted slightly different
Depends on where they put it... like this actually reminds me of the "best of Avengers" MCU waves that were European exclusive and those came with bafs. The bafs were also reissued as well. One had Hulkbuster, one had Infinity War Thanos, and another had Giant Man. And @Jtprime17 did say he wasn't sure if the wave was going to be region exclusive or not.
Could be foreign market. They did that with Age of Ultron, packing figures from different waves (like WS Black Widow and I want to say Avengers Loki) with the Hulkbuster BAF. Edit: Damn, double ninja'ed...
That would be messed up if the re-issued ML 90's Rogue and Jim Lee Cyclops with no jacket, and both with more paint... as European exclusives.
I will say buying the European waves from Robot Kingdom would be cheaper than the current going prices for both of those figures.
I just used some 70w RC car shock oil to free up a very right ankle joint on my Doctor Doom and it worked. I could see the ankle peg already stressing before, seeped some shock oil between the ankle joints, using a toothpick to guide. Made sure to tilt the ankle disc a bit so the shock oil could seep between. The ankle joint moves a lot better now between detents. Lesson learned, instead of trying to force a joint, I'll just use drops of rc car shock oil. Didn't work on my Winter Soldier's shoulder joint from the Winter Soldier movie but that joint has ALWAYS been borederline fused(moved with a lot of force before but barely). An Xacto knife might help, might try it later.
My Doom was the same way. I had to take it apart, and shave it. And whatever plastic they used for that robot WS arm shoulder, sucks. Ive tried to remove it on the one that the dog chewed up, to transplant to the IW one. No success.
yeah, who would be givens for this? Cyclops and Rogue for sure, Beast and Psylocke? Maybe Phoenix/Dark Phoenix? Apocalypse could be a good BAF option. what i want to know is if they’ll make improvements to reissues if ever.
