I really cannot figure out if I want that game Ironman. I hate the helmet but, it looks like a solid figure. No diaphragm joint, bad head, rigid looking... theres a lot of nice on it, though.
Snagged the Gamerverse Abomination wave Ms. Marvel, Iron Man, and Leader off eBay for retail plus shipping. Very surprised that no one tried to outbid me on them. I guess with everything going on some people are worried about spending money or getting packages in the mail.
The wave is actually getting a lot of hate. The game designs are pretty reviled and they double packed the most hated one.
I didn't know how long the Target deal was running and looks like I waited too long to switch my AoA and Gamerverse (of the four comic figures I wanted, anyways) preorders to there to save some money. Oopsie.
Toy Biz Leader with Anti-Hulk Armor anyone? I want the new ML Leader, but since I stopped trying to get full BAF waves and severely tightened up my budget on toys, some figures at $19.99 with zero accessories (and kinda boring paint and sculpting?) and a BAF piece I don't want has become a tough sell for me. I hope they are weening everyone off the BAFs with the deluxe 29.99/34.99/39.99 price point single carded releases?

Different boots. The original figure didn't have laces on them. The head might be different or it could just be painted better than the previous release.

Seeing as Thing is on a tempting sale and occasionally I see a price deduction on the other three... Would people recommend I pick up these modern styled Fantastic Fours even if I already have the Walgreens exclusive Classic costumes?
I picked up the modern Invisible Woman because I preferred the head sculpt and the Invisible Shield effect piece. So I gave them to Walgreens IW. I also have Modern Thing for my Avengers West Coast shelf since you can't see his modern underoos when he's in the back. I never got a second Walgreens Thing like I wanted. I'm really not a big F4 fan - I've even had the old 90s cartoon on Disney+ on for background noise over the last week or so. And yeah, that was seriously not a good cartoon compared to other Marvel contemporaries like X-Men and Spider-Man. That being said, the Walgreens figures *pop* on the shelf. They really look good, and I enjoy taking them out and posing them in group shots. The weakest one is Reed, and it's one of the things from the old Ronan wave that Hasbro did better back then - I liked having Reed stretched everywhere. It's a shame that Walgreens Reed is only in the arms, and even worse that Modern Reed is only in the fingers? Like really? I will probably pick up Modern Reed and Johnny just to complete Super Skull (no connection to the character just think he looks cool). But only if they're discounted. Walgreens > Modern.
