Ah I remember that time period fondly where Spidey, Wolvy, Hulk and Ghost Rider were temporarily filling in for the F4.

Cap is like the worst 80th figure in terms of it being a store exclusive I have never ever found yet.
Oddly I did bump into a Prowler that was clearenced out at $5.

So the good news is that they didn't go with the shiny/pearlescent red for Vindicator.
The bad news is that they still got the shade of red wrong so that she doesn't match Guardian.
Still - getting the majority of Alpha Flight in one fell swoop = :thumbs2:

Hopefully, your Amazon package handler is gentle - mine shipped in the white mailer box only. The packaging is nice enough that it's worth keeping. Thankfully, mine didn't get stomped on or anything.

When it comes to action figure reviews Robo's my favorite by far. Very level-headed and fair in his reviews and has an overall really easy-going demeanor.

Same. I also look to him for questions about scale.

Awesome pic, they look great together. It is always nice to be able to complete a team in relatively short time. Only issue I would have with any of the Alpha Fight figures is that Guardian’s red does not match Vindicator’s darker red. Vindicator’s darker red looks more comic accurate, or at least to me it does.

Yup. It started shipping out yesterday. Mine is arriving tomorrow... hopefully. Though if you're waiting, chances are this set will be clearanced during Christmas for between $60-$90. Happens ever year with the more expensive Marvel exclusives.

Yeah, the darker red looks better to me.
But at least it's just a shade difference rather than matte vs. shiny difference.

If Hasbro want to give Guardian another go with a darker red and a less taking-a-dump-tastic facial expression, I'd be all for it.

Well, I hope I didn't jinx him with my post! Looks like he is moving to Later in. This week will be his last Youtube video! Youtube is really screwing over a ton of people with their new restrictions on content. "Toy reviews are for kids" so we should restrict and clampdown on every toy reviewer. Sucks for a lot of them. I'll follow/support Robo on Later in, he's good folk.

Kinda bummed that the reds don't match, but it's not the end of the world. Especially since I'm not so much an Alpha Flight fan in general as I am of their appearance in Uncanny X-Men 120-121, so Vindicator and Puck aren't that essential to my display, sacrilegious as that may be.

While I have no plans on getting the set, a cheap price could probably sway me to do so. :lol

Would that Kree Sentry BAF make for a good base body for Box?

This isn't the old exclusive tag? I still see it all the time.

Strongly dislike all youtube reviewers, of everything and especially if they have some weird sthick like BSF.

    BSF is a dickbag.

Yeah, Robokilla is cool. I like Toyshiz, enough. He's very helpful on posting stock links.

So I am curious, when did Vindicator take up the name Guardian and his wife took the name Vindicator?

    This ^

I was never an Alpha Flight fan but I remember seeing Box 2.0 for the first time in those old Marvel Universe Handbooks and loving it!

Exactly. I never read Alpha, but that OHOTMU entry for Box looked amazing. Then I remember reading the bio and realizing that he was just a non-sentient robot (cue sad trombone noise). Such a letdown.
