Alright, I've had some time to step back from the ledge.

It's _really_ difficult to find stuff here, like 3rd-world-carry-water-seven-miles-uphill-both-ways difficult. This stuff is literally caked in dust and literally does. not. move. for. months. It's not a couple of lines or a few weeks of the year, but everything all the time. Sometimes I just get fed up being told that my money is no good while seemingly everywhere else is showered with magical clearance sales. It's not that I don't care who'd be hurt by pulling a stunt like "inventory recycling" but there doesn't seem to be a real fix for this in sight. Sorry.

Oh, and those reveals look nice...have to watch BBTS like a hawk though, what with Dull Surprise X pledging to join Gwenpool and Polaris's little club.

Cool that people can get another shot at Thing too.

Preordered Stan Lee, because I live the concept of having Stan surrounded by his creations in plastic form. So many wholesome pics to take.

Wasn’t there a teaser for 2020 at the end of SDCC? Was hoping for something related to that, but it kinda makes sense to save that for next year.

Damn those look nice. Really excited to see Sunspot and Warpath... not so much on blue Deadpool. The new FF looks great though I think I'll stick with my Walgreens Torch... just not a fan of Johnny or Bobby getting "normal" figures. Doom's fantastic and I'm not a fan of that modern She-Hulk at all. So Sunspot, Warpath, and Deadpool are part of the same wave that Strong Guy is going to be a baf for right? Also, I read earlier somewhere that someone claimed the FF wave baf was going to be Super Skrull. Any confirmation on that?

I believe so. I check the NYCC website and this was the only Hasbro Marvel thing they had listed unless I missed a listing. Unfortunately, nothing that was high on my list was shown, but I won't complain about most of these.

Thrilled to see Sunspot and Warpath... less thrilled with their execution. That Warpath is flat-out ugly. Will I buy it to complete my X-Force team? Very likely, but it's the first time in a while I feel like he was done better in early Hasbro legends. Yes, that one had the awful ball-hips, but sculpt-wise, it looks better than the new one. Those shoulder-pads are beyond hideous - hopefully they're removable. I get that hasbro loves 90's toybiz homages, but blindly repeating their poor choices seems silly. I'm hoping that's an early proto that will change substantially.

And Sunspot would have been better served in his late-new-mutants costume:

He would look better next to Sam in this one. By the time Roberto started sporting the red+blue, Sam had already moved on to his blue+yellow puffy jacket and was no longer in the purple that we just got in figure form. Thus we're not getting a coherent team of any any single era. I'm glad they're making these characters, but damn it feels like hasbro's just mailing it in.

Not a fan of the modern FF look, hopefully Hasbro won’t wait too long to give us the black and white look from the 80s/90s.

Definitely Dr. Doom. Maybe Johnny Storm for a head swap. Any Walgreens Mr. Fantastic figures around?

He might get his day, but Stan is the most recognizable face for Marvel, so it makes sense for him to get one first. He's been in every MCU movie, so even casual fans know who he is. Less so for Kirby. Quite honestly, I have no idea what Kirby looks like.

Hell ya! So glad the fantastic four are getting another release.

I have the Walgreens versions, which I prefer, but I’ll definitely be happy to get some alternative heads from these.

Mostly though, I want that thing. My copy of the thing came with two of the same forearm, so a new version would let me fix that.

Need that doom and Stan as well
