No it's fine, it keeps me from starting an unnecessary new display group "Marvel Character Armory" I was all set to jump all the way in too, had Iron Skull and Dark Reign Iron Patriot on ebay watch and it also would've finally pushed me over the edge to get Hydra Supreme lol
Yeah, I was expecting maybe a thicc iron patriot punisher repaint, with a helmet similar to the role play helmet, but it’s just the civil war WM armor. Still neat but won’t go out of my way to find it Also did you modify that Bernthal head at all? The sculpt looks way sharper than I’ve normally seen, and it kinda looks less shiny too
I seriously need to do a lot of downsizing and I dont know where to start. The Guardians of the Galaxy might be the first ones to go, although I dont know if I could give up Groot.
I took some acetone too him. He only came with half of his five o’ clock shadow. I think it looks way better.
That’s all you did? Damn I think it looks way better too. Which is weird, because he had five o’clock shadow most of the time. But your photo shows how accurate the sculpt is without it (though his haircut could be more accurate lol). So all you need to do is just use acetone/rubbing alcohol to remove the shadow. Wow, I think you just saved me $80 from the Mezco version. I’ll just get the legends and do this trick instead. I’ve actually never used rubbing alcohol on skin toned plastic before, on TFs. I assume it won’t ruin the color or texture of the plastic? I’m always on the lookout for certain MCU figures I still need, so if you have a list of figures, feel free to PM and I’ll see if there’s anything I need that I can take off your hands.
Does Future work on pegs? I bought an IW Loki off of eBay and one side of the cape doesn't like to stay pegged in. I'm hesitant to just glue it on so I was wondering if the floor polish trick would work well enough...
Emma Frost is back on Walgreens.com. Just placed my order. Marvel Legends Emma Frost Exclusive Figure 6 inches I kept trying to add her to my shopping cart, but then when I clicked on the cart to check out it was empty... Turned on my laptop, logged into my Walgreens.com account with my username and password, then I was able to add her to the cart and check out. So, if you're having trouble, login first before checking out. If it doesn't ship in the next two days, it's probably going to get cancelled... again.
Thanks for the heads up. Got my order in. It was giving me a hard time adding to cart as well. Clearing the cache seemed to do the trick though.
I definitely hate his hair. It doesnt take much. Like, I'm talking vapors on a q-tip. If you use too much, it will soak into the plastic and make it a goo. Takes the shine off. You can go to an Ulta and steal the precision swabs from their makeup stations. That KO Hulk in the back used to be a lot shinier and, had a ton of shading.
I have some questions about painting Marvel legends 1 how does one panel line? 2 how do i paint a spot without getting any paint on anything else? 3 i am looking at a IW Widow and I'm wondering how do i paint her hair red and what paint to i use?
