Yep. No big loss. The black around the eyes and doofenshmirtz haircut look like absolute shit on the SDCC Hulk headsculpt IMO.
I don't know the exact seconds but from what I saw, it was up for less than a minute. Whatever the case, yes it was ridiculous. May the force be with us when it comes time for Boba Fett, lol!
I'm pretty sure I saw it sold out before 12:02 but no need to get into details, bottom line is it was sold out faster than people who were F5'ing all morning could check out.
I saw it out of stock at 9:00 exactly and some other people were saying that he was still up at 8:58 so it was up for at least a minute. It was enough time for me to get in an order even when entering my credit card manually. Still surprised it went this quick.
Even if there is still some avaiable tomorrow I’ve already decided to skip this release, convention exclusives have just become bullsh*t... if you don’t plan to release it at retail don’t plan to make it at all. So for now I have no plans of adding Hulk to my comic book Avengers shelf. Don’t have the room in my budget for the 2pack and got screwed over on the SDCC exclusive.
Yup. Add to cart... check out. Confirm order. Out of stock... still in shock! This is probably the first time ever where I consciously made an effort to get at SDCC exclusive at order time to the point where it was in the cart and... effing failed! Yeah, there's tomorrow, but damn dude... opened up my eyes a bit on being nonchalant in the process. I guess I'm not SDCCuperman after all. I may actually pass tomorrow on it at this point anyway and maybe it was a blessing in disguise--- Finding out about Gray Hulk (and the Alpha Flight team pack) shortly did make me feel better.
Not sure if these Pulse items are leftovers that didn't sell at sdcc or a batch made just for the website but maybe they should make more of them just for the website. They clearly sell.
If it's anything like previous history for SDCC exclusives, it's both. Items that sell out at the show still end up being made available via HTS in the past, so there's at least some stock that's held back for online sales. Meanwhile, stock that doesn't sell out at Comic Con gets looped back in for online sales. There's also at least some stock that Hasbro might bring with them to other shows they travel to.
