Is this copy better than your last one I hope?
I'm only quoting you because you're the most recent person discussing this here, so this isn't aimed at you or anything.
F--- Tom Rothman.
Seriously, F--- Tom Rothman, Chairman of Sony Pictures. The man is as petty as petty gets. Look him up sometime, specifically his involvement in the X-Men movie franchise when he was President / CEO at Fox. Pretty much every complaint you ever had about those movies stems back to him, usually in a retaliatory fashion. He's exactly the kind of guy who seems to constantly fail upward, and the movie industry would be far better off without him.
Getting back to Legends, Amazon Hulk looks fantastic! I no longer care about the Pulse version, grey is where it's AT.
So what does everybody think about the Hasbro no-plastic-in-the-packaging announcement? Marvel Legends you can't check the paint apps on? Or if anything has been stolen/swapped out? Personally, I don't like it and I believe it will greatly curtail my purchases.

Bad ass bro!
The orange shirt on Amazon gray Hulk doesn't bother me in the least bit. If I'm lucky enough to nab one, I won't be displaying him him with it on anyway?
Why won't I display it that way? Because based on my recent acquisition of the Green Hulk 2-pack, the type of plastic and/or rubber the shirt is made out of. I'm concerned that over a long period of time it will fuse with the plastic on Hulk's body ala TF Movie Bludgeon's tank treads.
I’m curious how they’ll go about it. I’d imagine there will have to be at least SOME plastic to see the figure, but who knows.
Honestly, it depends on how they implement it. But knowing Hasbro, it'll be bad for the first 3 to 4 waves before they fix it and then it'll just be okay. It's obviously a cost saving initiative that happens to line up with going green but hopefully they can do this without disaster. One thing I'll say for sure, it's either going to get easier to steal toys or a lot harder. No in between.
I can’t think of an action figure line that sold without people being able to see the actual product. I can see a lot of opened returns coming from this.
Maybe they’ll use glass!
Only one that I can think of off the top of my head is the Digivolving Spirits line. They don't even have an opening flap like Neca stuff does.
Tried to recreate the movie poster. Rip mcu spidy
I want a Joe Fixit Hulk
Damn this makes me slightly depressed that I didnt grab a toybiz Toxin at my local Con, could've dont Grandpa, Father Grandson x2
Blisters were on the list. Nothing to worry about, besides more MISB complaining.
I like the retro packaging. Trim the card down.
it'll make the toy-swappers' jobs easier that's for sure
Do you want the tongued head from the Absorbing Man Venom? Or, are you cool with Audrey II? I have an extra.
What announcement? What does that even mean?
Although I'm getting really sick of this bullshit war on plastic. First straws, now this shit? Where does it end?

And yeah, I'm sick of it too. Really it's just a way to save money with a "going green" excuse tacked on. Where's my goddamn plastic straws?! I'm actually allergic to cardboard so more cardboard is pretty annoying for me.
It’ll end with all toys being die cast. Wait till they phase out bubble wrap and tape!
And focus buy locally!!!
