I'm... not sure if I should ask anymore questions or not.
I'm pretty sure he's aware of that, especially since there should be product photos on the back of the box. But it's also pretty well-known that the figure that was swapped is decently valued on the secondary market, so I think he made out good on that trade.
*shrugs* If it is the McFarlane super poseable Spidey...it is worth quite a bit. At least I see asking prices for it being kinda high. But it definitely isn't a Walgreens Exclusive.
Yeah, when I looked it up...I can see why Dao put it in a protector case
Really? That lanky hunk of junk is sought after on the secondary market?
And now I know. Where are the blue and red lasers?
That's Toybiz figures for you. But despite the lankiness, it's pretty accurate to the art of the era. McFarlane and J. Scott Campbell drew him pretty wiry. It's still a popular figure because it's pretty much the most poseable 6"-scaled Spidey toy out there.
But articulated jaws, and the 'real' Stormbreaker.
I don't have him yet, but from reviews on youtube, it looks pretty cool. It probably looks great in person/hand like most Marvel Legends.
So don't horse around and pick up this figure!
Except on the Walmart exclusive Avengers Cap, since that shield had the actual straps.
Those were easily detachable unfortunately, happened to 1 of the straps on my Cap.
Damn, it's been 7 years since those Avengers Legends were out at Walmart along with Amazing Spider-Man movie Legends. That year, movie Hulk was the highlight for me and movie Lizard(not a fan of the movie design but that figure as a toy is fun in-hand).
So...if people were still looking for classic Mysterio, now might be a good time to pull the trigger. I just received an e-mail stating the reissue was cancelled.
That really sucks for those that wanted one. Damn.
They were going to reissue Mysterio?
According to the BBTS listing, yes. There were expected singles releases for a while now I believe.
Oh yeah, the collectible shop near me had his case canceled 2 weeks back. I completely forgot about it. It's why I tend not to wait on restocks these days. Prof X may suffer a similar fate.
Keep in mind with these reissue cases; for them to become more than listings Hasbro has to get enough preorders from the shops they're offering them to. This is made harder by the fact that these "solid cases" are typically only offered to online retailers and specialty/comic shops. They're not offered to the big brick and mortar chains that account for 80% or more of Hasbro's business and therefore you don't have the ordering power behind it that regular waves due. But Hasbro still has to get enough orders to make it worthwhile on their end too. If there isn't enough demand than these things get cancelled. Honestly, he's really not been that difficult to get impo that Mysterio needed a reissue... especially since I've seen the Lizard wave restocked multiple times both in the wild and at online shops.
Secondary market will go up for Mysterio. If you guys want comic book version of him get him now before prices becomes like Cyclops. With the movie coming out he might be more sought after. Who knows if they will reissue the wave. They might..they might not.
Yeah Mysterio was always kinda rare imo, so I jumped at getting one for 25$ and called it a day
Incase anyone is wondering.
Yeah I know. It's the reason why I said it's better to not wait for a reissue that may never come. Plus @Predak1ng is right. He will jump up in price just as Cyclops did. People who only kind of want him now typically will need him later. I wish it didn't work that way, but it does. Also YMMV when it comes to seeing him in the wild. I saw him twice in the wild when he first came out and never again. Lizard wave never got restocked here; they just moved on.
I was wondering, thanks! Also I hate to say it but as good as the movie design is I still prefer the comic figure
Finally got Blink and it made me remember that Wolverine and the X-Men was a better toon than the 90s X-Men one.
