They could either fudge the shit with time travel or, drop the Holocaust.

I wouldnt want another old man Magneto.

Markus and Mcfeely said they want to do HoM. Leads me to believe they might reverse that story. Could work for an in.

My thought could be that Xavier was somehow shielding their existence. Mutant hate doesnt really seem to work when superheroes are celebrated.

F4 could be the result of Tony's snap. 100% works. No fucking up Doom. Keep him a low level sorcerer. He couldve been shunned by Strange over his mother.

Yeah, I like the idea that Xavier is somehow shielding the ones that exist (perhaps not a lot currently exist), but with the gamma radiation released by three different snaps we now have new Mutants being born so the ones like Xavier now have to come out in the open.

With F4, I saw someone come up with the idea that the team was around before and than some experiment of Reed's made them disappear and then they reappear in our present day.

Plenty of ways to introduce characters into the MCU currently without it feeling "forced". I mean... apparently Hank and Janet were active during the Cold War as Ant-Man and Wasp and *gasp* we didn't find out about that until a movie set in 2015! Same with Captain Marvel... she's been busy protecting the rest of the galaxy. There's ways for it to be written so that it makes sense.

Well, it doesnt depend if people can get over it, but Magneto's origin in the cultural zeitgeist is firmly tied now to the holocaust. Problem is less ignoring it, but the backlash from certain groups for ignoring it. A cartoon from the 90s that parents didn't pay attention to is one thing, a now 20 year mainstream media representation in today's socially charged climate is another. Marvel really has to tread lightly here, which doesn't surprise me it'll be several years before we see mutants.

Honestly (and I've been saying this for a long time lol) , with the FF, I would use the negative zone. Have it be a peroid piece where the FF get their powers in the 60s but are transported to negative zone when it happens. They fight annilulus and when they escape, they arrive in present day MCU. Leave Doom for the sequel.

His has been my theory. Xaiver could be using Cerebro to essentially make everyone forgot mutants exist. It’s the only way they could have already been there and nobody knew.

Magneto's characterization is heavily tied to a real-life event (the Holocaust) that gets progressively further and further away, and thus it becomes increasingly more improbable for him to be as spry and active as he is in modern day.

They've actually had to start resorting to fountain of youth-style treatments in various adaptations so he can plausibly be depicted as fit as he usually is. Or just going with it and making him and Xavier really old (as with Sir Ian McKellan and Sir Patrick Stewart), where in the comics, they're typically both perpetually middle-aged.

I dig it. But I think I'll just rotate the heads on Skullbuster's body when I feel like it. :p

War Machine is from Endgame. Beta Ray Bill I assume is based on a more recent comic look?

Gotcha. They could just make a fictional event along the same lines as that. No big deal there.

They should have given Ray a more classic style costume. Why didn't they just tweek the new classic Thor coming out?

All it needed was new legs and arms...

Yes Bill's costume is based on his recent comic look. If I'm not mistaken he started using that look in Unworthy Thor, and has kept on using it til his latest appearances in the current Guardians series.

Personally I prefer his classic Simonson outfit, really hope we'll get it sooner than later.

Maybe they are, Marvel Legends has a history of releasing the more "in demand" version or tweaked versions later on so they can sell the other version to people who can't wait.

You could always spend the extra $25 and grab a second Thor... ... .

I can’t wait to have that Thor. So hot, right now.

Outstanding! That’s what I intend to do when I finally shift my stuff from my folks’ place. But I really don’t like the spikey Ice-man...I hope the vintage carded one is more block shaped...;)

All I need is classic Colossus, Storm (Jim Lee), Magneto (3-pack) and Nightcrawler and I’m done with my ML X-men collection!
