I had him and Deadpool on preorder with BBTS. They both hit my Pile of Loot last month but I didn’t hit ship till the last day of the month.
That's what I said this morning when I looked at my Pulse tracking number. I'm not expecting him to actually arrive until next Monday though.
Looking foward to you guys getting your Prof. X's. Really curious to know the overall quality of the hoverchair, which early reviews seemed to skip over. It looks really cheap in pics and vids, especially due to how the plastic looks with all the swirling in it.
I've had my Professor X for a few weeks now from BBTS. The hoverchair is actually pretty good. It's also got some weight to it, looks comic accurate, and has little details like the arm rests slide to show consoles under them. One side being a screen with some buttons and the other side some buttons including a big shiny red button. But yeah, it's good. Happy to have this incarnation of the Prof after all these years.
Waiting on my single order of Prof X from BBTS. I think it's funny how they've already filled their orders with Deadpool, but to my knowledge no one that order Xavier by himself has gotten him yet from them. Oh well, not really in a big hurry.
Maybe their supply ran low. My friend owns a shop and opened a bunch of cases in front of me a couple of weeks ago. There are 2 Deadpool's to 1 Professor X in a case. Plus, I'm sure that more people ordered Professor X than Deadpool. My friend sold out of X's and was stuck with a ton of Deadpool's.
I really do hope Hasbro is just in "observe" mode on DP-Charles case packs. Professor X already reached beyond studio series leader class pricing here. They flip the switch with Juggy Pool and Multiple Man before so I hope they flip the switch too when they finally see the true demand surrounding Professor X. Like they make a revision case of the said release but this time x2 Charles and x1 DP to equate the stocks in the market. Or much better, x3 of Charles in 1 box.
Don't go applying common sense logic to toy production. It's well established that they have a blind monkey (named Mr Shortpack) with a dart board that determines case assortments. That's the way it's always been, and gosh darn-it, they like it that way!
I think people are confusing ye olde initial demand spike for actual popularity. You'll be tripping over Professor Hoveround soon enough.
Most likely and I'm assuming that DP will eventually hit clearance prices online. How many Deadpool's is that now?
