Yeah, it should be coming sometime this year. Not sure when as I don't see any of the 80 Year figures available yet.
Yup, I saw that on quite a few of the figures in my country. The white on the main body is prone to scratches as well as the teeth. Oh yeah, the hair on the Rogue head may not be painted properly too.
According to the press release, the 80th should be released in the Fall. Whether that's fall like July as some past releases have been or Fall like January, well, we'll have to wait and see.
Were the 80th figures supposed to be exclusive to somewhere? Also, I ordered the Magneto set just for the hell of it. I hope if Scamazon cancels it we get another shot at that Magneto. I still have the ToyBiz W1 release but it's a little out of place with the modern Hasbro stuff.
I have the Toy Biz Magneto and I instantly replaced it with the black suited one from the recent X-Men wave. There's just no comparison in quality despite the TB one being the classic costume. It looks like Gorilla Grodd turned Magnus into an ape-man.

Cap is a Walmart exclusive. I think there are others but can’t remember. As for Amazon exclusives... Yes, it is but remember, the Days of Fiture Past set was also Amazon exclusive and early orders were cancelled. But it was available again later at heavy discount and still available to this day at retail price. Moral of the story, don’t worry about Amazon exclusives.
Dude's hands are freakishly huge (TB Magneto). Yet I still love that figure for some reason. Same with the goofy Iron Man that uses the same body.
I'll take a missing tooth over her belts skulls not having gold in the eyes. That was a problem with most of them. They could've saved the gold guns and, figured out a two piece belt. Vintage Punisher looks pretty cool with the gold grenade launcher he took off of a pimp, though.
Went to Walgreens this morning looking for Mystique to no avail, but they had the entire Captain Marvel and M'Baku waves, so I got all of them for $13.99. I asked a stocker if they had Mystique, so she went to the back and came out with a figure in-hand (which got my hopes up), but as she got closer, I noticed that it was the Lizard wave Spider Girl. Ah well... Over the weekend, I picked up Professor X from my friend who owns a shop for $50. In the last few days, I spent over $200 on this stuff. I just need the X-men wave and I can finally stop buying this crap... Yeah right!
$48 at Gamestop for Pro X. $3 more than getting it at BBTS, and impatiently shipping it. Not bad, I guess. Never saw riders anywhere but Walmart. I Dont go to comic shops.
I'm honestly sick and tired of these companies sending things in bags, like these things look like they got run over by a truck its frustrating. Oh well I'll be pitching the boxes anyway but still between this & Amazon I wish I didn't have to rely on online retailers to collect.
Darksidetoys has Professor X available to preorder $39.99 and $5.95 shipping and Gamestop $44.99 ship to store. I just cancelled all my other Transformers preorders (but still keeping the full Caliban wave and the Magneto 3-pack just in case but with little expectation) with Amazon out of spite and will just look elsewhere for those. C'est la vie I guess. Not really counting on Amazon to fulfill my pre-ordered Caliban wave in full though... Bet Beast and Jubilee will get canceled out of the blue.
That Prof X didn’t last long at Dorkside. I was thinking about ordering with some other stuff to get free shipping but kinda glad I missed it so I can get it later for less.
I just want the figure so I can use it with the old Prof X wheelchair. For some reason I'm just not into the hover chair like I thought I would be.
