Yeah, Target exclusives are a maybe thing for me as far as finding them on clearance. Most the time, they are long gone before any sale.

No stupid giant white stripe on that shield.

According to former senior designer Bobby Vala(who worked on Hydroman, the new Thor, Juggernaut and others seen recently at Toy Fair), Scorpion's head sculpt was changed before final production and not for the better.
Not entirely true. I wanted to build Juggernaut but took too much time and ended up missing out on most of the wave. This set gives new fans and fans who missed out(like me) another opportunity to get Juggernaut without having to build it. Bonus points for the new extras.

I've been noticing on Hasbro's BAF lately.
After they released a BAF version, they'll release it in another version but with added extras.

Case #1: BAF MCU Thanos - to be re-released in a 3-pack w/screen accurate skin color and extra head and re-released in the "Best Wave".
Case #2: BAF Comic Thanos - to be re-released as a single pack with extra hands and brighter colors.
Case #3: BAF Juggy - to be re-released in 2-pack w/Colossus a different head (white eye, grinning teeth) and extra battle damaged head
Case #4: BAF MCU Hulkbuster - to be re-released in 2-pack w/Hulk, better painted

While they're giving a chance on late comers which is nice, it's a kind piss-off to those who chased the entire BAF wave.

Speaking on chances on late comers..
    I'm disappointed..

No re-issue on JIM LEE CYCLOPS. :(

Nah, with the exception of MCU Thanos these are far from "middle fingers" to the fandom. Outside of that particular one that came out the same year all the other bafs were released two to three years after the fact.

To be fair the comic Thanos is less accurate than the BAF
Also the BAF are released in such a huge time delay that it’s nice. If I wanted a Juggernaut and wasn’t collecting at the time that wave was out (which is true) I never would have gotten the chance to get one with the absurd secondary prices. In fact, the crazy aftermarket for Marvel Legends is the reason I stopped collecting it for the most part, and gave up on collecting X-men figures.

Plus for some of the waves featuring said BAF's I didn't want all of the figures in the wave. Seeing all the d-listers still on pegs sometimes 3-4 years after the fact, shows that I'm not alone.

I won't disagree it's not exactly Jim Lee 90s Colossus, but looking through the comics recently, it seems like there was never a 100% look for him. Like on X-Men #1's full splash cover, his X belt buckle looks round here...

And same here in later issues of Uncanny X-Men.

The biggest think I've seen every 90s styles Colossus figure seems to get wrong are his wrist gauntlets.

So basically I guess it's up to the collector themselves to fully decide if it's 90s Colossus or not. The buckle has been both square and circle shapes. The boot tips, you can probably remove the yellow paint and it'll look fine. Just the gauntlets for his wrist are the big thing. Maybe the more modern Colossus's ones could be swapped or something.

Even as a Wolverine fan I'm surprised that early solo series Wolverine made it to the vintage wave. An easy repaint with a new head and accessory like that seems more fitting for Walgreens.

Would've preferred Wolverine based on Toy Biz' Wolverine III(Jim Lee xmen blue/yellow costume), since the 2008 Hasbro one is very outdated.

Same here. The other two in my top 5 are Dark Phoenix and Mystique.

But it’s growing! I was able to get rogue and collossus at retail price a couple years ago from amazon. These are the rest of my legends. It’s a small but growing collection.

Do you have a link? I can't find him on their site.

Speaking of which, it still won't let me complete my preorder of the Caliban wave. I still put in my card number and it still just takes me right back to the screen telling me to input my card number. I'm about to call it done for Pulse.

I picked up Ultron for 13 bucks at Best Buy this past weekend. I wasn't quite collecting yet when the Ultron BAF was out, so it's a nice addition.
