With all the rain that's coming down I managed to get sent home without doing a thing at work today. I got home and dove back into red dead. Took a nap and woke up after lunch to find a couple of texts from my mom and a couple of friends saying they were sorry to hear about Stan since they know how big a Marvel fan I am and even got them heavily into it as well. So that's how I heard. I regret that I never pushed to go see him at any conventions, just once would have been amazing, but his legacy will always be a part of my life. I'm sure he has a cameo or two still coming and it's going to be heart wrenching to see them, but he is The Man, and he lives on forever in the universe he helped create with other legends, and legends never die. Excelsior my friends...

Lady Deadpool uses the chest mold from Ashley Barton, rather than the smaller chest from Silk/Psylocke.

Most definitely not the same body as Rogue, which is even bustier, and with bigger/wider hips.

Suddenly it's curiously apt that Spider-Man (along with his Amazing Friends - I loved that show back in the day) happens to have been the latest addition to my toyshelf. :(

Agreed, the Juggy Rogue figure is substantially larger (and more endowed) than LDP. I always thought that buck was a bit large for her, as I didn't think Rogue's frame grew when she permanently borrowed Carol's powers. I typically picture outback Rogue the same size as Storm and Dazzler. The #1 roadblock to my custom is finding suitable hair. No modern figure has a "do" that big, and I'm not confident enough to sculpt my own 80's big-hair.

What does this guy put on the wired tentacles? Looks like plastic rings, but not sure.

Yeah hair is an issue, there really isn't a perfect option outside of sculpting. I'm fine with what ldp has, but the chest is the closest I've got to juggy wave Rogue and side by side they look equally YUGE. Lol.

At one point I considered using either Typhoid Mary or even Apocalypse wave Storm, but settled on ldp.

Do you mean the white plastic on the end? He just left part of the softer plastic from the usb plug, skip to about 12 minutes in to see.

That's a beautiful tribute, but a gut punch at the same time!

    Thanks anyway though. :)

When picking out super villian powers, it's kind of funny that Doc Ock wanted/chose "more arms" for his power.

"Watch out people! Extra arms guy is coming to get you!"  :p

Hey, it's better than Liefeld's Four Arm. I mean that was his power and name. Pretty dumb.

I've got a couple of spare juggy Rogues that I bought on clearance just for this purpose, but like I said, I've about decided she seems too damn big. I want to do both the outback green bustier version as well as the fall-of-the-mutants flashdance one-shoulder tank top deco as well. But until I find the right head/hair combo, I'm hesitant to commit to a body.

     Don't cut them up!

If you sell those two Rogues MIB you can pretty much pick up an entire BAF wave for pennies.

Eh, they're already opened and just sitting in the giant bin of figures to use for customs. I bought them at $11 each for fodder... back when Rogue was plentiful.
