My local Walgreens still has a TON of the yellow Daredevil that I suspect someone returned to clear stock from another store. I haven't even seen traces of anything past the Dr. Strange wave. I was thinking that they stopped ordering since the yellow DD's never move.
Today I found the Ross exclusive ML Blizzard. It's the same as the other ML Blizzard only he comes in just his box with no packaging or Hulkbuster part. Just Blizzard crumbled up in the bottom of a box.
It's irrelevant whether you care or not, as that doesn't determine what will peg warm when the times comes, which was the conversation. I actually think Shatterstar and Polaris will be the biggest pegwarmers cause I think that when Logan hits theaters it's gonna move some of those Old Man Logan figures off the shelves.
I found it rather pointless to speculate which figures will pegwarm. We will know when the wave hits greater saturation. There's no real point to it unless you're looking for some kind of bragging rights - "See see I told you Colossus and Dazzler would pegwarm, see see." "Congrats dude, here's a cookie."
I stopped by TRU earlier hoping to find Groot. Well, not only did they have him, they had a whopping 25 of them! What's even crazier is that the cashier told me that a bunch of people have been buying him today. How many did they get!?
I picked up Groot today as well. I had ordered it online with instore pick up. So apparently TRU was ready to have these on hand at b&m stores as well.
I went to TRU yesterday and they had none. Maybe they were holding for the actual release day? Anyways, ordered it online this morning.
Amazing that a store actually handled a release like they were supposed to. Either that or they already sold their allotment were you were because they put them out super early.
mine got around 24 and went when it first opened and i went back 20 minutes later there was 12 left yeah today is the official date for them
Saw the Guardians Vol. 2 wave at TrU this morning and an extra Starlord. No Groots though.These were just sitting on top of the counter in electronics.
How many movie Yondu toys are they going to make? I'd like a 616 version of the character now. I do like that they gave him a proper head crest/mohawk this time around. You bought them, right?
Hopefully it will be plentiful like the other TRU exclusives. I'm worried about getting Black Panther from Walmart.
