I think you might be underestimating BW in China, though. I know that Dinobot ran into some safety regulation issues, but if the Chinese are the main market for the MP line then how else to explain two new BW moulds on the horizon vs one new G1 mould? This board is the biggest TF board, right? But it's still relatively small. And it's also a lot more toxic than it used to be (that's my impression at least) in terms of how people give their opinions. Opinions are all well and good, but I would hate to be a Hasbro employee having to read through some comments on here. Also, TT or Hasbro can see their international sales, no doubt. If they see that Sunstreaker sold just as well as every other carbot, why would they think that they're doing something wrong? Or that Ironhide also sold just as well, despite coming with a whole load of accessories. The fact is the MP line still seems to be doing pretty damn fine. How do TT find out what people want from the line, apart from running those surveys they did on their website? Maybe checking Amazon JP reviews? I don't know, maybe there are some really popular Transformers messaging boards in Japan which for some reason we've never heard about. Maybe it's all happening on a Japanese equivalent of Weibo (and I'm really curious what kind of groups exist on Weibo!). There's already an American-centred mindset on these boards, but when it comes to the Masterpiece line all of us need to be really aware of the fact that our voices don't mean a whole lot right now. Unless we actually take to somewhere like Twitter and make ourselves heard!
