So you think chrome goes under paint aps then?
I think Straight YES and NO questions need to be asked. Hasbro has a talent for not giving straight answers to questions.
Uh, yeah. Unless I'm misinformed and it doesn't cost anything to buy and apply chrome.
Ok then how bout, is it bc of cost issues chrome is no longer used?? Lol.
Yes. Also, its more of a pain in the ass to work with than normal paints from a manufacturing standpoint. But short answer, yes.
Will we find out about the next series soon? I know it's in production. But can you guys (Hasbro) tell us at least the premise and story of the latest continuity?
I'm not saying that it doesn't cost to apply chrome, I'm just wondering why all of a sudden after RiD they decided to stop using it. If its a cost issue or if its because it chips away, and they feel that for some reason its dangerous. Because honestly, I'd prefer chrome and paint applications if some of the lesser details were lost. Idk, maybe I'm not explaining thoroughly or something, it makes since in my head..
Why do you hate me?
I doubt we will get the answer we want from this question but, is there any legal issues that might prevent future Animated style figures or current characters from being releases at a later time?
Could we have a poll similar to the ones the G.I. Joe team did where we can pick figures for things like a premium line or the next Universe line?
You said that if G.I. Joe Resolute was successful that you may give Transformers a similar treatment. Was Resolute successful enough that you are thinking or currently planing one?
With child safety laws getting stricter all the time can you tell us things that were canceled, changed, or you wanted to do that you can no longer do?
What is the status of the Ultra class going forward? It seems to me that class is being phased out. Was the Universe Ultra figures successful enough to continue that class in some form or will the focus shift more to Voyager class much like the increase in Animated?
What are you getting Kickback and Optimus Sledge for their wedding?
Edit: Back before the release of the current Universe line there was a picture, on a cardboard cutout or poster but I can't remember which, of Classics Megatron drawn in the Universe style box art. Was it just for show or was there a plan that was canceled for a reissue or repaint?
1. will we ever get a classics/universe soundwave(a real new one) and 2. will we ever get a classics/universe the fallen?
1. How about a Transformers Resolute style show?
2. We want more Classics/Universe! How about a Classics Shockwave or Stunticons team?
1. Will it matter to you if an Arcee figure wont be released in the next 23 years,Again?
2. How come no bases like Metroplex,Fort Max or Scorponox have been released in the past 23 years?
3. Will it matter within the next 23 years Hasbro goes belly up and the company that takes over produces Arcee from Transformers The Movie or Transformers:Animated for the first time?
... huh? What are you trying to ask with questions 1 and 3?
Oh, and I suspect that question 2 can once again be answered with "cost."
question 1 and 3, i'm bitter!!
Is there any possibility we can get a Transformer that will hold Joes/Other 3 and 3/4 in figs?
WILL YOU PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD AND ALL THAT IS HOLY, STOP USING CLEAR PLASTIC FOR THINGS THAT AREN'T WINDOWS OR LIGHT PIPING?!?!
I'm finally about to complete Nexus Prime (the combiner you pervs) this year, and all four of my figures from the past four years were full of hairline cracks all over on the clear parts when I got them. Also it makes painting a chore as we saw with the whole Sticky Paint thing with Universe Prowl and Ironhide. Don't get me wrong, I love clear plastic as long as it is used in a more practical way, but making entire sections of figures out of the stuff won't fly. It makes the figures more fragile, and lessens the play value IMHO.
Aside from the obvious Animated related questions:
1.Have you ever considered doing/are there any plans to do G.I. Joe/Transformers Crossovers in the style of the Human Alliance subline from ROTF?
2.What is the decision process you go through to determine on which figures to make for certian lines, such as who from Animated gets a toy or who you wish to reinvent for Universe 2.0?
I would LOVE to see either of you actually stand up and ask questions like that.
