post questions that MUST be asked at botcon, and this thread now request people to ask said questions for us. post about 2-3 questions.

1.why does the 25th anniversary of transformers suck so badly right now? seriously hasbro, this is the 25th anniversary and so far there has been nothin except a crappy overpriced prime reissue and we are getting yet another soundwave reissue.
2.what is wrong with the frickin distribution. seriously some figures are impossible to find (activator cliffjumper, universe legends, universe inferno, animated wreck-gar
3.what is wrong with the QC, and why is your customer service so terrible when it comes to addressing the problems

 

why can't you develop an an updated mold of Fort Max that will pass current safety tests?

will you release for combiner sets , preferably in a non exclusive distribution?

Where does Hasbro stand on the introduction of more sustainable packaging materials and plastics?

Will we see additional "titanium" figures in the universe line?

Can you explain how the process of how a store chooses an exclusive works? Is there a list of possibilities, or are ideas generated through discussion from the store?

Will Hasbro Toy Shop begin shipping to international clients?

Though the question I really want the answer to is: Why do you even pretend to care about a whiny fraction of fans who will never give you credit and always find fault with what you do?

Why can't you ever release a proper *CAR* Arcee? You have no problem releasing motorcycle Arcee's with 50 billion repaints or a spider Arcee but you just can't release a proper car Arcee. Why? What is stopping you? Why is a *car* Arcee so impossible for you to get to retail shelves???

 

I believe that in one of the Aus Q&A sessions they stated that the plastics used for packaging are made from partially recycled stuff or they are able to be recycled. I can't remember exactly.

I'm going to ask if there are any plans for a Classics Headmasters Arcee. Hyuck hyuck.

2. Would there be future releases of Gobot characters with robot and altmodes that more closely resemble the 1980s Gobots (without stepping into a legal minefield with Bandai), as was the case with Fracture?

 

When we will see a Leader Blackout?

Masterpiece Soundwave?

 

Can we expect to see more cross-promotion of different hasbro brands, such as G.I. Joe and the Milton Bradley line of games?

What can you tell us about how a license is awarded to a third party manufacturer (American Greetings, for example). What sort of guidelines does Hasbro set out when choosing whether or not to give out the license?

 

A lot of these questions are either rude or have been asked at... I dunno... AT LEAST the last two Botcons (because I was there!).

And when people ask specific questions like "Are you going to do a reissue _____?" the answer is always "No plans".

Try asking things that they can actually answer like... "Why are we getting Universe reissues of Energon or Cybertron toys in Universe packaging instead of really cool repaints?"

 

Will the remainder of TF Animated figures be released? Arcee, Blackout, Hotrod, Voyager Bumblebee, plus repaints Soundwave and Grimlock.

When and how are you going to release them?

Any idea of what direction will be taken with the next series that will air on your new Hasbro/Discovery Kids Channel? Maybe more like TF Animated, the new movies, or perhaps like GI Joe Resalute? CG or Traditional 2-D Animation?

Will Hasbro ever release G1 Re-issues in Vintage Style packaging? Like say Takara's Oncore line?

Any plans to do a Leader Class Blackout figure from the new movies? Is it maybe atleast on a short list of figures you'd like to do?

Is there any way Hasbro can or help to... release a CD of the G1 Cartoon's Back Ground Music? Perhaps a re-issue of Blaster could come with a CD. Or even better, a new mold.... CD OST + TFWs Boombox.

To end all the arguing amongst the fans.... How well did Animated do? How well did the toys sell and what were the ratings for the show?
