So as you might be able to tell, I had trouble coming up with a name for this thread. However, I thought it would be fun to try and come up with a list of MPM figures that definitively (or at least as close as possible) represent the characters of the bayverse as they appeared onscreen. For my purposes I’ve prioritized 1/29th robot mode scale, and accuracy to a given character’s CG model, as well as overall build quality. Also if there’s only one figure currently available (or announced) for a given character that once wins by default. Feel free to discuss or create lists of your own. 2007 movie Autobots Optimus Prime: Wei Jiang Blackapple Commander Bumblebee: Legendary Toys LT-01 Wasp Jazz: MPM-09 Jazz Ironhide: Unnamed Wei Jiang Blackapple Ironhide Ratchet: MPM-? Ratchet Decepticons Megatron: BMB oversized MPM-08 Barricade: Black Mamba Bottleneck Starscream: MPM-? Uh........ if you meant Weijiang that’s an OS leader, not SS. If you mean SS, then that’s black Mamba.
2011 Movie Alien Attack Toys Firage - Dino/Mirage 2014 Movie Toy World Knight Orion - Optimus Prime Unique Toys Galvatron - Galvatron Unique Toys Peru Kill - Lockdown GCreation MTST Wrath - Grimlock 2017 Movie Unique Toys Dragoon - Megatron TransCraft Mohican - Mohawk
I personally do not care for official scale chart since it is either does not make sense at all or simply not accurate to what we have seen in the screen. So in my opinion, the big ones like Megatron should be tall but not BMB tall. Weijiang scales better with their Prime and Megatron but their Blackout anr Hound are too small while their Brawl is inaccurate. Their Ironhide will be good. I am good with official Mpm scale though and prefer my big Decepticons at 28-30 cm.
