I meant vehicle mode. My philosophy is that the vehicle modes should scale correctly, and let the robot modes fall where they may according to that.

You're philosophy is a good one! Here is how they would stack up if the alt modes were scaled properly. I scaled all the alt modes together and shrunk/enlarged the robot modes according to the same ratio. It's pretty cool how close this fan chart actually gets it right.

 

Agreed! Alien robots can be any size. Real life vehicles should scale with each other.

Honestly, i would love to see proper wings on starscream's back, i think the 07-09 voyagers got them right, while the leader mould, deluxe and SS have that strange shape of a heart, those wings are the ones that gives him the Dorito vibe and shape.

Yeah. The original voyager is surprisingly accurate in bot mode. It even folds up some of the wings to simulate the jet engines on his back. Even its proportions are better than the leader. But I still like the leader more.

I love the Prime sword poses, but I'm most impressed with teh truck mode with flat hood AND pegged in smokestacks. ANy tips on achiving this look?

Thanks! It's been a while since I transformed him so it's not really fresh in my mind how I got it all to align. lol. I think the biggest thing was getting the legs and hips into a position that would allow everything to line up. Then I just kept messing with everything until they fit well enough. Haha. I know I still had a problem with the sides of the cab with the windows having trouble lining up with the bottom half so it wasn't perfect.

 

i was thinking about it a little bit, and this line is also almost half Bumblebees just like Studio Series. MPMs 2, 3 and 7 are all him and currently there’s only 7 figures overall. Granted there’s less MPMs than there are Studio Series but I thought it was kinda funny.

 

And all of the Bees are inaccurate.

Absolutely. Granted VW movie Bee might be more G1 Bee but we all know he'll ends up like Hot Rod/Hot Shot/Cheetor v2 by 07.

Also wondering what exactly the thinking was behind HasTak including one barrage cannon but two swords and a matrix for MPM-4. I'm 100% convinced that mold works best when rocking two via the shoot out before the forest fight.
