The trick is to slide it in while the windows are open. A bit fiddly but doable.
Right but can that trick be done with the Takara version?
Yes mine is the Takara version (Just with painted headlights).
Thanks for the heads up and close-up, going to give this a go
Does anyone know if these will fit the old 20th anniversary MP Hasbro Optimus Prime above? I'm pretty sure the side Windows are a no go, but how about the front?
Really hope they continue this cel shaded window trend! Hope they do some 3rd party MP too.
anyone buy the ocean decals for POTP optimus? i liked the glow in the dark part so went with that over reprolabels but no idea what goes where haha
Reprolabels now has 3 screen label sets for X2 Toys Big Computer (MP scaled Teletraan I set). Labels can be applied, removed, and reapplied.

What at the best water slide insignias and where can I get them. The more toon accurate the better.
Just picked up the cel-shaded stickers for MP Soundwave. I will post some pictures once they arrive.
Anybody know where I can get some clear backed dry transfer or waterslide logos at this point?

Is there an exhaustive resource or list of kits for MP and third party figures that are dry rub or water slide only? Basically I'm looking for options similar to what toyhax/reprolabels does but I hate stickers. I see a few examples in the first post of this thread but it doesn't appear to have been updated in some time. Thanks in advance!
@Madgame I get my dry rub decals from unclebillyshop.com. Decals & Poster
Most toyhax stuff is exactly to scale with what they are bought for.
MP-01 is a giant compared to the newer (MP-10 forward) bots.
It might be worth asking if they can make ones for MP-01 or if they will make ones that are large enough to cut to fit.
Here are some before and afters of my KO MP-17 with a few of the Ocean dry rubs to make him a Japanese Police cruiser instead of a generic highway patrol car.
The rubs are a bit thin and the old black on white text show through underneath... would have to paint over it before putting on the decals.
Also someone needs to learn that font kerning is a thing. The spacing for the POLICE text on the door is terrible!
Here's the Japanese version of GT-08A Sarge (not Streetwise) with some Ocean Autobot insignia water slides...
The borderless ones on his shoulders really helps cut through the sea of white that's his upper body. Unfortunately I had to use a bordered logo for his hood (which doesn't really match his unpainted plastic white because the Japanese version has the yellow shield on the hood instead of on the doors for the English or Chinese versions.
I do have to say his backpack is pretty tidy compared to other bots.
Does anyone know the skill/difficulty involved in removing toyhax stickers? I have the opportunity to buy a used figure, but there are several toyhax/reprolabels applied which I would want removed.
Spent all day doing these labels, still loads to do
finally got the cell shade for sound wave and while I was trying to straighten it the catch for the tape tray snapped off having to use blue tack to keep it shut till I can figure out a better fix, I'm having no luck with my mp lately.
More toyhax.com labeling today still more to do.
