    Well, this is in the Animated forum, so I'm basing this all on the Animated universe.

    Anyhoe, I'm going with Waspinator, although not a Decepticon, didn't really do much for me. Other than cause a bit of trouble and get blown up.

    BlackArachniia didn't do much after her first appearance except being a poor knockoff of her Beast Era counterpart. I didn't feel sorry for her at all the whole series. I was sympathizing with Waspinator more. I'm also not a big fan of Cree Summer.

    Useless as in "wasted opportunity in TFA" or useless as in "could have been the badass of badguys but never really stepped up"?

    Runner up... i'm not going with Wasp because he was never declared a Decepticon, and BA seems just upset- not 100% Decepticon. So...Skywarp. He only peed himself and shrieked when something was happening. Good or bad. Not the ideal form of a decepticon.

    Thundercracker. He never hit Blurr or any other Autobot once, got defeated by a freaking Constructicon and just...flew off into space, never to be seen again...unless you also don't count him!
