Beast Machines: Rattrap, remember how long it took him to transform? Then he switched sides because everybody got tired of saving him, plus his bot mode just looked terrible.

Out of the characters that have plenty of screen time, I would say Wreckgar. Remember when he said "I dare to be stupid" in grabage in, garbage out.

 

Did you ever actually see the cartoon? They weren't even confirmed to be robots so I couldn't count them.

I'd say that the most useless would be Sentinel, he was just so wrong all the time that whenever he did something decent he'd bring it down with a goonish act

 

the dinobots ,sent prime as a leader was'nt very good,and all the autobots on cybertron

 

Ultra Magnus. I can't think of another Autobot grand commander who managed to do as little as he did during a TF series. His biggest claim to fame in the cartoon was getting slagged by Shockwave and losing his hammer.

Hot Shot. I'm sorry, but all he did was attempt to deflect Stirka's barrage. He failed and got his leg damaged beyond repair, requiring amputation for his troubles.

 

He was pretty good at throwing out the trash too!
