My 2 cents First off I will say good job.As it's DEFINATELY better then anything else I could do. However I will say that the use of US G1 music is a SERIOUS turnoff for me. Masterforce is an anime and honestly I'd prefer it if in the futre you kept the OBGM(Original Background Music)intact on future dubs. Like how the Victory and BWNeo dubs. They keep everything just like it was the the Japanese version
Hearing "fansub" I wasn't expecting much, but it was very WELL DONE! LOVE IT! When is episode two coming out? I loved seeing Landmine, and didn't even know he was ever animated in a cartoon. I had him as a TF and he was one of my favorites. Who does the rock song used in the background in some parts?
I must note that I'm not always able to do this, but I do whenever I possibly can. Well, 95% of the time. The team did a great job and it will be nice to see them improve in the coming months. I would've gone a different direction with the music, but that's not talent, that's taste.
The victory dub wasnt that accurate from what I saw as far as dialogue. it was decent. of course, I only saw up to the second episode.
Watch our newest stuff and you'll see how much we've improved. And I was talking about music, although Victory ep 1 does not have accurate music (until we revise it).
On a scale of 1 to 10? 5. This is just honesty, so please don't take this as insult. 1) Some of the voice recordings you couldn't understand. Too much echo. Too dry. Sometimes it felt like some people were just literally reading lines, not trying to voice act. Really kills a character. 2) The lip synching was horrible. More times than not a character would finish their line and their lips would continue moving. 3) Repetitiveness in the script. Having Kasha, or whatever his name is, go "Mr.Hawk" all calmly and then yell "Help me!" and continue yelling "Help me!" is really ... well, repetitive. 4) Errors. You have Submarauder speaking for Skullgrin lines. Seeing how this is a fandub, you should actually "catch" these errors, so to speak. 5) Silence. Many times you have a lot of silence in a scene. Just because there are two characters and we can't see their lips moving doesn't mean they can't be talking. It adds to the scene and to the story. This isn't all bad -- just means you have a ton of room for improvement and lots of potential. I look forward to the next release. Really push your crew to make the characters their own. And to get better mics.
