I don't get all this hate for Wheelie. Sure he was annoying with his constat rhyming, but does anyone remember that all Blaster did through the entirity of Five Faces of Evil was talk in rhyme? I don't even think Wheelie rhymed once through that entire mini-series.

Animated Prowl - besides having one of the ugliest character designs in Animated, his entire personality was a cheesy cliche, complete with chanting and meditation. It got even worse when he gained the ability to magically use the force.

Cyber Ninja Jedi? Really? Is that a bad joke? I wish.

Energon Kicker and Ironhide - a very close second. I don't usually mind characters with aggressive personalities that come off as jerks, but Kicker blew past that line and went on further to become an Asshole. It didn't help that Ironhide was as dumb as a brick, and completely incapable of ever improving.

 

That's a pretty shallow complaint about one of the best designs ever.

I mean in terms of characterization he delivered in both movies ; menacing aerial skills in TF1, and he played up the classic Megatron - SS relationship in TF2. If that was annoying to you, G1 SS should have been annoying to you as well.

Imo, one of the most annoying characters was cartoon show Rodimus Prime : for being an inconsistent emo personality and for having an extremely simplistic toy.

The upcoming MP Rodimus almost makes me forget about that....almost....

I actually liked the Twins. I say 'liked', I got nothing against them. Or movie Wheelie for that matter.

He's if you combine all kid appeal charecters into one horrifying evil moster like the Stay Puff Marshmallow Man, it didn't help that he was voice by Matt Hill.


He's the real reason why no one liked Energon at all, and yet i still want his toy. T_T

 

She's probably not even meant to be taken seriously, but Cybertron Thunderblast -- Holy crap on a stick, I can't stand her. Many a character have had a similar her personality to and yet have not annoyed me, but Thunderblast... Good gosh, I could really do without her.

 

I think poor Wheelie's problem is that the rhyming character had been done to death so yet another one was just one too many for some people.

It seemed like the rhyming thing also went with big tough characters like Mr.T or Roadblock from GI Joe. You can make an argument for Wheelie being tough but unless it was Wheelie vs the Smurfs you couldn't call him a big guy.

 

Only the movie twins annoyed me ever.

 

Wreck-Gar. Hated him. Even in 3rd grade. When it was XMas time, I distinctly told my mother not to buy him for me (or tell Santa Claus I didn't want it, whatever). Point was I hated him

 

Tarantulus. Man he's so annoying and his laugh! and Nightscream.

To be fair, he was so utterly horrible that most forgot he exists on purpose.

 

Annoying?? If we're picking on Beast Wars bots, I would say Waspinator and mainly because I didn't care for the his voice. I know he was supposed to be comic relief, but blowing him to scrap over and over got old. In ROTF the twins were supposed to be comic relief but obviously failed. Maybe the most embarrassing ones were indeed the movie twins, Skids and Mudflap.

 

Armada Cyclonus was pretty annoying.

G1 cartoon Insecticons were quite annoying-ing!
