If you don't think any character in Prime are 3D, there isnt really a need to comment.

In my opinion, I thought Dreadwing was the most 3D character in the Prime series. His battle tactics are more interesting than any other character in the show, and he gets shit done on the battlefield as well. His history with Wheeljack and Skyquake makes him mysterious, and the fact that we didn't know whether or not he was going to switch sides made him a little more complex than some of the other characters. I thought the fact that his loyalty lay with his brother instead of Megatron at the end made him an even better character.

So far the ones I can think of are Arcee,Jack,Ratchet,Starscream and Dreadwing. They're done pretty well in my opinion and I can't wait to see where they go next.

Starscream. I was not a fan of the way Dreadwing battled. The bombs became tedious and almost wimpy. He would have been a better character without using them. Starscream is someone that (was at least) had nothing to lose. Very dangerous. Other than him its maybe Ratchet.

I like Ratchet, he seems to be a good character, that's all really, and maybe Agent Fowler.

    All of them.

    It's CGI animation, not hand-drawn.

    ...

    Oh that kind of 3D.

Definitely Starscream. He's gone from Decepticon-in-charge (during Megatron's absence and subsequent coma), to Megatron's foil, to solo, to loyal follower all in believable manners which were explored and developed through story telling. He's the only lieutenant who succeeded in the missions put before him, and he managed to accomplish a great deal when he was on his own. Not to mention, you never know which way he's going to turn on Megatron.

I don't think any of them are actually 3D. They'll just a bunch of cliches that aren't actually improved in any such way story wise. (They either just die *choke* Dreadwing *choke* or get really annoying *choke* Arcee *choke*).

Now...I'm fond of Ratchet, Fowler, Starscream , and Knock-Out. They're just fun.

Dreadwing. He had great development, design, and could've went somewhere. But they wasted him for no reason.

I think Ratchet and Starscream are terrible characters.

Gonna second that vote for Miko, y'all. She's shown some definite, and most of all CONSISTENT, growth and change and is coming out pretty well rounded (for the show).
Starscream seems to be Captain Plot Convenience rather than a developed character, honestly.

I don't understand all the talk of Dreadwing as a 'well developed' or 'interesting' character, either. His hypocrisy was more annoying than intriguing and the only real surprise he threw us was in not defecting to the Autobots like every other 'disillusioned honorable Decepticon' over the years. Even at that he still threw them a bone before biting it.
Also what history with Wheeljack; he bombed the guy's teammates and tried to bomb him, the end.

Um... what you're describing there is character depth not 3D. 3D is a visual effect and considering the animation style every character is in fact 3D.

:google  Please look up "3 dimensional character" in google search, and then realize that they're is another meaning behind 3D characters.
