Former pitcher Roy Halladay died in a plane crash today.  

 

RIP.

Not a good way to go. He was supposed to have to good and long retirement.

 

RIP Doc Halladay. I remember how feared and awesome he was in the 2010 playoffs when his Phillies went up against the San Francisco Giants in the NLCS.

 

I remember everyone making a big deal out of when the Giants beat him in the NCLS in 2010 as he was the best pitcher in baseball at the time.

He leaves behind a young family. Tragic. RIP.

Corey Kluber and Max Scherzer win Cy Young awards. Those poor Nats will never get over the hump, no matter how much talent they have on that team.
