The fact that this game has gone on this long is ridiculous. I wish they still played WS games during the day.

I really hope the Astros win it all tonight but my gut feeling tells me it's going to be the Dodgers, since they have homefield advantage for Game 7, historically, the Game 7 winner in World Series history almost always has been the home team.

Also, last night in Game 6, I had a feeling this would come back to haunt the Astros, after the Astros scored their initial solo home-run in last nights game, 3 more times in the game they had multiple players on base, including bases loaded but they couldn't score again on those opportunities, meanwhile the Dodgers have almost always scored in this series while having multiple players on base.

You just can't beat the drama of a game 7. I love it when they start bringing starting pitchers out of the bullpen.

I pray and hope it is the Astros, but I still think it's going to be the Dodgers.

Wow, if this series has a goat, it’s Darvish. This is his second horrible start of the series.

Pretty tame game 7, but at least the Astros won.

Only 5 pages for this thread the whole season? No one cares about baseball here, lol.

I’m glad the Astros won. I don’t know why, but I used to have Astros pajamas when I was a kid even though I was never a big baseball fan, and I support the local teams (the ever disappointing Pirates). I have a friend from Houston, and he makes it sound like a nice city, and after all they’ve been through in the past few months, they earned this. I have a friend who is a major Cubs fan, and they won last year. I wonder if that means my friend from Virginia who’s a Nationals fan is the next in the cycle of “my friends’ teams win the World Series.”

Let's face it, when it comes to pro sports a teams season don't mean a thing unless you get that ring.

At least now, my Giants won't have to open up 2018 against the Dodgers and witness a ring ceremony.

Like I said before, the city of Houston needed this more than Los Angeles. I'm glad the Astros won, but a tiny part of me was pulling for the Dodgers only because a good friend who went though a horrible divorce (and a bunch of other related crap that I won't mention) is a fan.

exactly, and the Giants had a 56 year drought, even though it's not good to wish negative things for other teams but i'm sure Giants fans hope Dodger fans go through a long similar drought like that, gonna be 30 years next year for the Dodgers!

I would have posted more if the Jays had a much better year and made the playoffs.

But people on this board seem to like American Football more. At least the Hockey thread does well.
