With the new deluxe sized Ironhide/Ratchet and upcoming new mold voyager Prime and recoloured voyager Megatron, I find myself wanting another Bumblebee (ino, )to fit with these scalewise. So, do we really have enough Bumblebees, or would a scout or similar Bumblebee be something to crave?
Meh, I wouldn't have a problem with it if a Scout class Bumblebee hit the shelves....but I wouldn't buy it. There too many of the little yellow bugger out there now, a veritable hive of them. Now, a Scout class Dispensor - that would get my cash.
Agreed, there's been way too many Bumblebees, but there hasn't been a scout version yet and he'd fit in perfectly with the new deluxes?
I've been wanting a scout Bumblebee for some time now. To be honest, I thought they'd do one for ROTF, but they surprised me and redid the deluxe. Now they surprised me again and redo the deluxe yet again. My theory is they want to make as much money as they can out of the movie's most popular character. They could do a pretty decent Bumblebee mold at scout class, but why sell a scout if you can sell a deluxe. In the meantime, there's this guy: At first I was put off by the proportions, but it's grown on me a bit and I quite like it now.
I plan to get Deluxe Ironhide, Deluxe Ratchet, and Voyager Prime, and I can't wait to have them all together. I'm thinking of just getting the new Deluxe Bee too, it looks like a great new mold that's worth buying. And I really don't think it will look too out of place next to the others, unless you're a sucker for scale. As for the Activator Bee, that's an option. I may consider it, but the head looks a little big to me.
