Hadn’t heard about this one until today. Looks really good, and reviews are very positive.

OKay, that looks good. It has some Blasphemous vibes and I hope there's a wimpy mode for us folks who want to enjoy a good 2D game but not into twitchy reflex gaming.

OMG. I beat Blasphemous and I'm proud of that accomplishment but it's actually a game that terrifies me to try and play again. It's not actually a super hard game but its not easy and you can get really wrapped up in it. I know I will eventually go back and replay it from the start some day!

    I can't wait for the sequel. :D

Bring it on, though it’s so bizarre seeing the cel animation when about everything in the game is pixel art.
Teaser for a sequel makes me a happy boy, though I’m curious who the protagonist will be…the Grievous Miracle works in mysterious ways ;)

In other news, I bought Iconoclasts on sale from PSN and it’s pretty cool so far. Interesting that the story has a religious vibe to it, though obviously not as much as Blasphemous.

I think I've replayed it three times already, and one more time since I'm starting over on the ps5 lmao

It's cool that they're trying out different art styles even it it's just for their trailers. Keeps it fresh!

I beat it on PC recently. I really enjoyed it. I think they do the exploration part of the game better than the first one. The combat I feel though is not as good as the first with the reliance on melee attacks. I think the first one is a better game, but if you liked the first, you'll definitely enjoy the second.

Now I['m curious to see if they can make a cross-platform collection of the DS games with whatever changes they would have to do with the touch screen gimmick controls. Also, I hope "Castlevania Legends" gets tossed into one of these as the surprise game.

Maybe they can remake it like they did with Castlevania Adventure!

Yes, its on PS4. But to the best of my knowledge, I think this collection is digital only. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Edit: According to the official website, its digital only all right.

Just so everyone is clear, that's the SNES version of Dracula X. For good or bad, it's a totally different (and much more linear) game than the one on PC Engine, despite reusing the same assets and story.

Thanks for this post, because there's a good chance this would have flown under my radar otherwise. Circle of the Moon is the game that introduced me to metroidvanias in the first place.

Then I'll just wait and hope Limited Run tackles it like they have done with the others.

Although, since I do own the others on the GBA still, it won't be that big a deal, but still, I'll wait a bit.
