Hey hey. Anyone who has access to Series 16, could you help me get a Spartan Haunted? It's quite literally the last Halo mini figure that I really want and I'm content with the selection. My goals for Halo Mega really was to just acquire Alpha 9 and Noble Team and well...I already did that. Once I get the Falcon I feel like I'm done with Halo Mega. I really just need to get the Haunted and that's it. I'll make it worthwhile to ya if you want. I'm willing to pay upwards of 10 for him if that sweetens the deal.
My comments weren't an invitation to misread them and put words in my mouth. I said these days for many fans, either Mega quit on the franchise OR WM/Target stopped carrying stuff OR distribution has been spotty. I never blamed everything on Mega, but I do miss the glory days of high output and solid retail support. I agree distribution has been good if your main interest is Halo singles and blind bags or pokemon. If you have interest in their other properties, there is a good chance you're out of luck. That was my comment. I know you consider yourself the grand poohbah of this thread, but it really is ok if someone gets a word or opinion in edgewise.
You really shouldn't quote me with if you don't want my response to your "opinion". Especially if that opinion counters what I said by taking it out of the context. Then to not expect me to point out why you were wrong to do so is just plain silly. So, that's entirely on you. That red and blue situation sure looks lazy and bloated somehow. Speaking of lazy, two figures in the next Heroes wave being figures from either a previous Heroes wave or from a set that eventually sold for less than half a full Heroes wave.
Turns out my local ToysRUs finally got something interesting, the Scorpion Clash set. So I popped out to check it out today... and no surprise, they can't find it yet. Came home and placed an in-store pickup order, and shocker, it's ready for pickup. Guess I'm going back tomorrow. But the Walmart nearby had a surprise. After literally not a single Mega product when I was last in (_months_ ago!). Today: Including the Wombat set: The Hornet: The Red Team Flaming Warthog: And these armour 2-packs that I've never heard about: The backs of both call out remix possibilities with the upcoming Mongoose set.
I had seen where the newest sets were showing up at Canadian retail. I envy you finding the Wombat set. I really want to troop build that Brute.
Maybe, but Pilot Helmet means there's a skull face. I have Series 3 Atriox and Honor Guard. And the Kinsano Cyclops. And Series 4 Decimus. Series 15 Decimus says hello.
With at least the Honor Guard the demand and potential for troop building it there. But, yeah, the others... silly. As for the red/blue, I'll have to take your word for it. Looking at the game skin, however, a lot seems to have been lost in the Mega translation.
No. I mean that's the Pilot Helmet from the Spartan Haunted. So there's a skull behind the visor still. Speaking of Skull face, I just found Series 16 at the Boardman Meijer! All that was left was a Kelly and a Haunted. Mine now!

What the heck is Movies Unlimited? Feels very much like a cousin of Deep Discount. Ah, I see. Now it's even more confusing. Is that game accurate? Seems a waste of the Haunted mold to paint over the visor.

Asking again. If anyone finds a spare Spartan Haunted it'd be great! It's the only figure from 16 I want. None of my Targets have stocked Heroes since 13 or 14 and all my Fred Meyers are still stuck with 15. I'll give you 10 for it before shipping if it sweetens the deal. Just gotta get this one last figure and I'm done with Mega Halo.
