No problem, hope you can secure a set once it goes back up for order, I was so focused on grabbing one for myself earlier this morning that I forgot to share the link
Damn shame they canceled the orders the first time. ... Then again, I still have the advent calendar in my orders.
I use the Amazon app on my phone and have it saved under my wishlist. I love the Amazon wishlist feature, as you can filter to see purchased items, set the priority of an item, and mark how many you have and how many you need. If your need quantity is more than your have quantity, the item will still show in your wishlist.
I won't be able to tear into it until a week from Monday, just booked solid and traveling between now and then.
Welp... Got the track ripper for 8 bucks at Ross. Excited to build it when I get home, as it's my first Hotwheels set!
They are fun sets but so much of the potential in the line seems lost by altering the size of the figures and reducing the articulation. I do wish they had offered up the little yellow ATV they made in more colors as stand alone kits or as a multi-pack.
A friend of mine is in California visiting some of his friends, one of whom owns a toy shop. And they have a Battle Bones in stock. So he's attempting to negotiate a better price on it for me. Might get the friends & family hookup.
That set genuinely needs to be reissued. Even if it is without the figures or with different ones just to make the Convention set buyers feel special. Need another shot at flocked MossMan too. What a bumbled sale that was. The only people who gained from it were the attendee scalpers.
Yeah, it's another one that I have a line on what I see as a worthwhile price. There's two shops within driving distance of me and both have it for $450. Not gonna happen.
Unfortunately the alteration of the figures do suck. Luckily, the heads and torsos are still compatible!
Finally got home! The go cart is neat, though it's not long for this world. I'm going to try to modify the car to act as an armored vehicle, and maybe remove some of the material in the interior to allow larger figures to fit in. Very impressed with my first Hotwheels set! Edit: now the question is, what do I do with the go cart?
Got the series 17 Heroes I bought off eBay in the mail yesterday. I haven't opened them but they don't look like the terrible QC/Bootlegs? That Demarcation Media had in his Youtube review.
