Good deal. It's the one I'm most looking forward to, and will likely be the centerpiece of my Mega Bloks battle.

It's been around a while. I can't recall which sets have had it but this isn't the first time we've seen it.

Duke, Bludd, the Commander, Snake-eyes and Sabertooth?

I went ahead and picked up the Bludd and Commander heads since shipping for two was no worse than shipping for one and I didn't feel like spending nine bucks in shipping for a second purchase down the road.

I saw he has a Lady Jaye head as well. But I don't feel like color matching flesh tones.

Shit. The WWII Battle pack was on sale on Amazon last night, like $44 CAD. I hesitated, and it's back up to $88 today.
But the Defense Point set is only $19 today. Not the most exciting set, but a good deal.

Wait, the Banished Defense Point Showdown set? That includes essentially the Mongoose set and a large cannon build?

At that price, you're basically getting the cannon for free. Buy many. If you regret the purchase, you know where to find me.

Edit: Fucking Mexico and their apparent abundance of 20th sets.

I hit my local Krogers and saw Mega Construx there for the first time. They had Halo Infinite Series Blind Bags series 3 (as well as an empty series 2 box). The blind bad codes are really hard to see and I gave up and just grabbed 7. Got lucky and got 1 Green Spartan Centurion, 1 Grunt Mule, 3 Orange Spartan Hermes, 1 Pink Spartan JFO, and 1 UNSC Marine. All I really want now is the mini UNSC Wasp.

In the Houston area, I think all Kroger Marketplaces carry Mega Construx. Here in Indianapolis, there are a couple of the Marketplace stores, too.

Kroger has been my go to for the smaller Mega stuff for a long while now.

They even have the newest CoD four figure packs.

I'm just waiting on the Halo build box to get reduced.

Seeing the prices for the Halo 20th anniversary character pack just makes me sad. Scalpers galore

Don't be sad. Be happy for any idiot that chooses to pay that when any seller is selling just the pre-order, so when the market is flooded (hopefully) as it actually releases, they'll be out $200+.

The MX sellers are a different animal altogether.

And if this is the conclusion to this like the Banished Marauder that never was truly released here, well, I'll be hapoy to have finally broken my addiction to a Company that doesn't give a shit and will never change its ways. And I have plenty of unopened sets that I can sell to the next line of suckers for a profit.

So it’s actually not out yet? I could’ve sworn I missed the window bc Amazon says it’s unavailable and they don’t know when/if it’ll come back. And I never see an abundance of MX Halo stuff in stores around here, so I wasn’t getting my hopes up of seeing it at retail. But I’d love to be wrong! Or if others on here find it easily, I guess there’s that route too

It is the same situation with the Skeletor Havok Staff, the listing is there but the item is not available to order yet. I think it is mainly because Amazon does not know when the item will be available, which is on Mattel.

That actually may have more to do with the West coast and all those cargo ships stuck at sea. The MotU Heroes shipment is still slowly trickling in and the Halo stuff is finally shipping. Amazon sent me a notice about the Wasp earlier today.

Note, I said "may". That Mexico has already received the set and Amazon UK was selling the Havoc Staff, it may still very much be a Mattel issue.

Knowing nothing about the game, is there a reason the Jackals look so different in every series?

In combat evolved they looked like geckomen with beaks or baleen plates, in Halo 2 they were reworked to look more avian. They kept they design until Halo 4 when all covenant species were redesigned and made to look more like monsters from GoW than Halo. Infinite is returning to the older designs. Canon wise the different appearances are the result of subspecies and the Jackals having colonized several moons before they joined the covenant, so genetic drift.

Are MOTU sets not very popular? I see them in droves at Walmart and a collector shop here has a bunch of the figures and various sets. The bird plane, the skull fortress, the tiger and blade-drone-thing.

    I see. Fair enough.

Eh, it has its audience. Like all things Mega, though, it seems that no one wants to buy sets at full price during the initial release.

There's a constant oddity in the line. Small sets like the carded stuff sell quickly, medium sized sets sell out, restock, linger, go to discount and then immediately shoot up in after market pricing. And large sets just kind of don't move even at reduced pricing until, five years later, someone wants to know where they can buy [that one big set] for less than three times original price.
