I don't understand why Walmart Assoc. can't be bothered to scan items into their system before putting them on the floor.

Because that's not how it works?
Ideally, an item that does not scan would not be sent to a store that isn't set up for it yet. However, it can happen, and whatever central product database or "Pricebook" control operation that they have needs to enable/authorise the item(s) at that store in order for it to scan normally.

The majority of stockers are more concerned with getting product on the shelves than scanning each item to see if it does indeed scan.
Granted, not having a proper shelf label on the shelf for the product **should** prevent the items from being stocked, often times that's not the case as the prevailing directive is to "get it out there to sell."

Often they are told not to bring anything back as well coupled with them not reading the boxes.

Speaking of Halo, pictures of series 14 were posted on MC's Twitter:

Oh, wow, Master Chief! Good thing we are getting another chance at him.

Realizing that Brutes are larger in game, they still should have made the helmet shoulder pad large enough to be in "Mega scale" rather than in game character scale.

For all the jokes about getting another shot at Mastwr chief, for most of mega bloks/Construx history he was actually a really rare figure to have

Too bad it's not that way anymore. There are a lot of older type Spartan armors that need to be upgraded to the new articulation over Master Chief green, 3 parts yellow, 1.7 parts blue, hint of mango.

So, I was just at Meijer, and while I didn't buy any sets, they actually had a pretty decent stock.

I saw the same thing last time I was in one. In fact, I have actually found the three figure Halo card packs there before. But, yeah, a decent ten by three square of shelf space.

It's not that I want equal opportunity for all the lines. It's that I'm only here for MOTU so it'd be nice if there were a dedicated MOTU thread. Just caught up skimming through three pages of posts that mean nothing to me because it was decided that MOTU couldn't have its own thread and ought to be lumped in here. All the Halo talk is fine (the sets look pretty cool and if I were into Halo I'm sure I'd love this thread) - I just wish I had a way to filter it out and only see posts about the line I'm following.

:horse:  I know the horse is dead. At this point it's just kind of a vaguely horse shaped pulp. Just seems so arbitrary.

On the subject of MOTU, I'm kind of surprised they haven't announced a Snake Mountain set yet. I'd love to have one to go with my Grayskull.

You really need to expand your horizons. All those Spartan armor types make excellent troop builders for a "Skeletor's forces". I have no interest in Halo other than adding the figures and sets to fill out other worlds. Originally it was GI Joe and TF stuff but...

You know this would look good harassing a Sky Sled:
    SmartSelect_20210520-162952_Amazon Shopping.jpg
Or this would fit well rolling up on the Eternian Palace:
    SmartSelect_20210520-162906_Amazon Shopping.jpg

    ... Embrace it.

Yeah, while I have played Halo 1 and 2 and seen Red vs. Blue, that is as far as I have gone with Halo.

I really collect the Halo MC mainly for the figures (Spartans) as they are good fill-ins for Colonial Marines and Resistance fighters for the Aliens/Predator/Terminator figures. I have gotten COD MC mainly for MOTU Eternian guards and to use later for custom parts. I have no attachment to the COD property.

Bottom line, I love the size/scale, design, articulation, part customization/swap options, and affordability of the MC figures.

I would love to collect the other 80s properties in this style (MOTU MC is one of favorites to collect presently). Bring on Thundercats, Silverhawks, Voltron, MASK, GI Joe, Starcom, Photon, Captain Power, Centurions, and Visionaries.

I wish MC would branch out like Super7 has been doing. A $5 MC figure is much more affordable than a $40-$50 ultimate figure.

The local Kroger has many of the Fisto Skeletor skull sets left. And since I was the one who bought all the Jet Sled sets initially from that store, I have plenty of extra HeMan figures. So who has a new wrist pivot?

    Why, this guy:

While I have some two millimeter magnets, knowing what I know now, I believe I will order some slightly larger one to secure in the wrist and hand to fasten the joint a little better.
