Yep, it could be done and should be done but probably won't be. Just like releasing a flock Mossman instead of just a green Beastman with a mace. But I my thinking on exclusives is typically unconventional... pun intended. I suppose if there is any good to come from the last year, it has shown that big events such as SDCC are very much old way thinking in regard to getting new hype to the fandom. Especially in regard to toys. In this day of digital streaming and immediate information, having to travel to a physical location just to see what you'll be able to buy maybe "this fall or early next year" is silly if not entirely pointless.
Deep Discount also had 3 Pokemon leaks: Corviknight Galarian Ponyta "Same Scale" Squirtle (Probably 4 inch, only Kanto starter that hasn't been done yet)
Anyone have 2-3 T-800s that they don't care about? got a few Utrom/Kraang coming and I'm wanting to upgrade their limbs
Luckily that should be an easy replacement for Mega to do for you. Likely, the entire figure. Not surprisingly, I am finding more stuff at Kroger than I am at WalMart again. Picked up more blue helmets for the troop builders. Edit: May've gone back to Kroger and picked up the yellow helmets as well. Also found the Hot Wheels sets. Picked up the Tiger Shark set.
Found a box of Breakout Beasts (series 6) in the seasonal section at the local Kroger. Also had an empty spot for them in the toy section, but nothing for MotU skulls. Still trying to find Trap Jaw.
Saw the Marine and one Spartan six pack at Target today. And a display box for the newest Mega Heroes packed with HeMan vs Beastman sets.
So both my local Targets have shown to have 3 of the Halo UNSC Marine Platoon Pack in stock for about a week now. I decided to try in store pickup for my first time since they have not put them on shelves. The in store order was ready after about 1 hour. I decided to check out the toys before I got my order and was not surprised to see 2 of them on the shelf (also saw Skeletor skulls and Halo helmets on the shelves too - first time I've seen these at Target). I think doing in store pickups might force them to put the item on the shelf if they are not already. Anyways, the only downside was that the one I got has a major corner crease in the card while the other 2 on the shelf were in near mint packaging. I am going to open them up eventually but I like having the packaging in good condition. I also hit a nearby Walmart and they also had the Skeletor skulls and the Heroes wave with TMNT Michealanglo (all the cloaked Predators were gone of course). First time I have seen that Heroes wave in stores. Never saw the earlier Heroes wave with Dutch and Predator in it at retail.
Man, I chose a really bad time to get into the Call of Duty line, didn’t I? Especially the WWII figures which seem to go for A LOT. I’d really like get the Axis Vs Allies pack, but then so would many other people it seems.
You might be right. My target has had both of the exclusive Runabout and Thrust in stock, but not on shelves. I got both by ordering online for in store pickup. I guess sometimes we have to force their hand.
It's so true. Mega fandom seems to be split into two groups: 1) those who pay attention to releases but only buy stuff on clearance & 2) those who have no clue but are willing to pay 5x retail 18 months after they disappear. It's absolutely baffling.
