are there any generic female civilian type bodies? Got a spare head from a Halo figure that would make a decent April O'Neil, but need a body for it

The Halsey figure would be your best option.

The body from the Nick April isn't bad for that. The noggin is way too big but the body looks fine.
Also, the Monster High figures use the same torsos, you can swap the other parts fairly easily.

Good suggestions, both of you. The head I'm looking at using is from the Halo Infinite female marine sniper, red head with it pulled back into a pony tail, kind of like how the nick version is but more realistic, might try a few of these options and see what works best

I just happened to have 2 of those figures on my shelf if this helps you at all. The sniper head on Halsey body.

That’s not bad at all really, especially considering there’s not really an easily available April that is any good

You could always try to dye the body a darker blue to match the original comic jumpsuit.

Edit: found the helmets and skulls this morning at Kroger. First time seeing either there.

I have a ton of Halo sets that I've not been able to display in years. What is the demand like for those sets - pre and post fig body change?

If they're complete and have instructions, they typically bring more than they should, i.e. 2-4x what you paid for them. If they're just a bunch of played with parts, probably way less than you'd expect.

The old figs are likely only important for completeness, as the old body style has long fallen out of favor.

Yep, I only use the old figures for their helmets and, occasionally, legs.

But, yes, two to four times original retail is probably right for the bulk of a collection, piece by piece. Some may offer less if newer sets are similar and better.

Got a mongoose for Raph and Casey, I've said it before, but the Halo vehicles are perfect for the TMNT guys

Already had a few of these sets, but bcf had them at this $5.99 price, so I got another.

To make up for the over/under, I picked up 4 of these at full price (2 trap jaws)

So I saw these recently at a local store ... how are they (Hot Wheels sets)??? I saw that they are 5 studs wide which is blasphemous in Lego circles.
    Are they any good?

I picked up 5 of them (I think). Built 3. They're not bad at all. I'll try to get some pics and comparisons up some time soon.

Also got Trapjaw (in Skeleton's head) from Target.
My son almost picked out one of the series 6 Breakout Beasts but went for a Bakugan instead. Oh well.

I still think the Hot Wheels ATV and go kart need to be their own kits. I'd buy many of both.

Target does list Mega MOTU on the website. It's where I got the Castle last summer.

Indeed, I just don't think Target was willing to carry much in stores early on. And after selling eight ten dollar exo suits for three recently, they may not heavily stock the shelves again anytime soon with Mega Brands.
