Yeah, he's unusually popular and made more so due to distribution issues for that wave of figures. The Predator set us a much better option. You won't have to take apart a perfectly good figure and the head won't glow in the dark.

Built my wind raider and battle ram today, really liked both of the builds. Still waiting on Grayskull so get delivered, so didn't get to build that today. Curious considering I'm only missing Moss Man and Scareglow for characters, is there any hope/rumors of a 2nd release Scareglow? I know most of the figures have gotten alternate releases

Yes, a plain, white, non glow in the dark Scarglow was supposed to be on the release schedule for this year. Mega's design team has commented on how they are very aware of the collectors' dissatisfaction on the original availability.

Not sure why they opted for a non glow in the dark version though. Or if that plan has changed.

Edit, based on the age above, maybe he will glow in the dark.

I still want many of that Roboto. He'll make a good troop builder.

I can't find the quote but I did see KevinMCX post on the He-man.org forums that Scareglow would be retaining his glow-in-the-dark feature, so it should be a straight up re-release in different packaging.

Yeah, it looks like they're not even giving him the other color vintage scythe for the re-release. The only out-of-package difference will be the style of stand, I guess.

The original re-release plan was going to be plain plastic passed off as "mini-comic colors" with comic Prince Adam, Beast Man in yellow armor and a Sky Sled.

Yeah but we have one less Beast Man, which I'm not complaining about really.

Nice! That means I just have to back track for Moss Man. Any word on when this wave is going up for order? I need at least 3 of the 5 so I'll probably just order the whole wave

Ahh, I need to sell my extras from that Heroes wave with Scareglow sooner rather than later, then. Meant to when I bought them from Five Below... what, two years ago? Maybe less? I dunno.

I know this isn't really the thread for this, but while at walmart today I saw another Lego competitor that I've never heard of, Max or something like that. Anyone have any info on them?

It was just a box of generic blocks, over 700 pieces for $20

That yellow fur for Beastman really should be either a pack-in bonus with an existing set, part of an armor accessories pack or been on one of the other uses of the mold already. Like that Heroes Mossman. That would have been a perfect place to pack it in.

Yes, pretty sure it comes with the green version as well.

As for the Max series, it showed up early last year or possibly even late 2019 on the far end of the Lego shelves around here. I don't know if it's just a generic competitor or WalMart's new Sam's Choice brand. There's never been a lot of it present but there has consistently been more of it than Mega stuff available during this last year.

I know a long time ago, the Kid's Connection brand WalMart carried was just Mega Brands bloks in a different package. Even had the Mega Bloks branding still on the pieces.

I'd avoid them, I picked up the sets they put out awhile ago, space rover, "castle", and a dragon, each with a figure. They're terrible, look at what you built and they'll fall apart. The figures are kinda interesting, but again pretty bad quality.

Good to know, sad that they seem to be low quality since they'd be a decent option for generic bricks if they were better

How big are the GOT egg dragons? My gf grabbed all 3 for me at kroger today after finding them for $5 a piece. She figured they would work well for the MOTU stuff and I'm curious how they size

Sadly I just noticed that one of his wing pieces broke where they connect to his fingers, so be careful posing them.

    No prob!

It really is a fun dragon, and I've been thinking about trying to find the other two, but man, I'm really bummed about the breakage. :(
