    Ebay:
And if people wouldn't pay the prices scalpers sell things for, there would not be this problem.

Patience and perseverance are the key. I have been hunting for over 20 years now, I have found over 90% percent of what I wanted at retail stores. I don't need to be the first to get something, just as long as I get it eventually.

Admittedly, it does help to avoid buying off eBay of products actually make it to the stores in the first place.

If I lived any region other than North America, I doubt I would collect Mega brands at all.

I was able to buy it as part of a lot but had it not been for eBay, I would never have owned this set:

I'm totally with you on this and do the same. If I can't get something for MSRP or less, I can live with passing on it. Anything I really, really want, I can find a way to get it at the price I want.

The thing is, there are all kinds of people in the world. You and I may be willing to spend the time to find deals but if you factor in how much your time is worth, I know for a fact, it's more "economical" for me to just pay a premium than to spend hours of my time checking online or in person to find some things. I still do it just because it's part of the fun and hunt to me but other people might want to spend their time differently. That doesn't even take into account that I'm sure there are plenty of multimillionaire collectors who are not phased by paying a 100-200% or more premium on a toy.

Same. And I bought 3 of them at $40-50 each because I knew there would never be another chance "at retail" or at that price.

I got 2 of my 3 Roton sets in and used the 5below Ezio heads to replace the Borg heads I used for customs.

They have the small pin hole in the head

I found taking the belt off the figures makes them much easier to fit into the Roton

Beastman fits the best since his harness stops high up

Those Borg sure do look better with the extra paint.

... So, anyone having any luck with WalMarts?

I found that the paint work on the figures has kinda declined, imo. As someone with OCD, it's an easy thing to notice for me.

    Groveling... huh. Groveling.

Giving him a jangle eyed look.

Unlike the HeMan previously pictured, mine has no milk mustache. It's just the right eye on MerMan.

Found the Alien Queen at 2 Walmarts today. They are not the 2 closest Walmarts for me to hit but I am glad I hit them.

I figured out a Roton fix for the seat it does make the Roton tip back but it also makes it look like it's coming for you.

Does that mean their distribution is getting better or worse?

Stagnant as ever. Those were originally slated for an August release, if memory serves.

    Series two Xeno Eggs:
    94T Grey/White
    96T Red/Copper
    71T Purple/Drab Green

I'd say, at this point, it's about as expected. Targets are getting new inventory. Amazon and EE.com seem to have it trickling in. WalMarts around here seem to have either abandoned the line or are trying to sew it in with other lines of common theme. Pokemon sets with the Pokemon stuff, the Xeno Eggs with the other Alien toys, no real Mega dedicated section.

Not what I would call the promised "better in August".
