Popped into a Walgreens after work today looking for any leftover PotP deluxes. Found these instead. And this. The only four on the pegs. Edit: Contents Ultra Rare Gold Mk V.
That's a definite score in my book. I've never seen more than 4-5 on the hook of a Walgreens. They don't seem to get the whole box. They get randoms like DG with Heroes.
Gamestop leakaroo of those new 4 inch Meowth, Charmander, and Mew. CanOfSloths mentioned a street date of the 1st but I don't know if that means Nov or Dec. Winter is coming... with a lot of medium size new sets : megaconstrux Charmander looks a bit off in the head department, but otherwise Meowth and Mew look great. Definitely need to tell my sis about Mew.
I picked up the last GOT dragon egg I was missing at Target today. They also had a new box of Halo heroes out so I was able to grab the Master chief I was missing. I've been impressed with the GOT sets so far. The iron throne was really cool, and I really dig the dragon eggs. They are like the break out beasts without the slime and better wings and paint job. I did manage to break one of the long wing support pieces on the green one when I was trying to pop the ball joint in.
I picked up the black and red one,I think he's pretty cool. Hoping they do more in that line. It would be nice to have more variety rather than repainted but still dig them. Picked up a few breakout beasts so I'm hoping the codes I found on the internet are right. Target had a box of the series 3 breakout beasts but I was hoping to find an Iceblaze but that one eluded me apparently.
Seems Walgreens is the place for blind bags. Stopped by 3 on my way home from work and this is what I found, with some help from a code list. #1 #2 #3 So, I now have both ultra rares from the 10th Anniversary series. The Walgreens where I got the Hellbringer had a 2nd bag, which according to the code list was another Gold Mk V. Now, for anyone who's bought the Battle for the Ark series, is it common for the figures to be mostly built?
I Picked up the black one. I had no trouble with mine. I like the wings of these better. I am not a GoT fan at all. Only set that I want is the giant dragon.. because it is a giant Dragon!
I do like the blue on purple but that purple Spartan needs a yellow visor. You can't get that close to a Shockwave and not commit.
Anyone else collect the Breakout Beasts and Crystal Creatures? I know I'm hoping for additional series. I could do without the slime but I get that it helps sell it so whatever keeps the line going, right?
So these have been confirmed to already be available at Ross in California.... Now where the hell have they been? Typical Mega. Also went to my local Ross. They didn't have it, but they had this 'pair' set (that is just a rehash of the set released 2 years ago).
Those are pretty old sets but a decent price. Guess I need to hit up my local Ross and see if they restocked anything. They've been great throughout the drought.
That's the thing. They're re-selling an old (Brute) set in the 10th Ann Packaging alongside this new Spartan III Customizer set that was just announced....and is already at, not Amazon, not Ent Earth, not Target...but at Ross.
