The Battle Armor Faker is a homage to the MOTUC vs DCUC Bizarro vs Faker 2pack. That being said, the solid orange color of the battle armor does make it look like a bra.
Found the Mew vs Mewtwo set for $15 at Meijer, had to get it. I really like Mewtwo's tail, it's fun to pose.
Considering how many different decos they're pumping out, if that Teela isn't, I'm sure there'll be a blond one down the line
I'm hoping we get the shield in orange with him we have the axe and sword already. I'm hoping they do different front plates too.
Wonder if they'll do Mekaneck with a rigid extension piece or if they will try to incorporate ball-hinge segments like so many PokeMon tails.
If anyone is in the Madison Area I spotted one of the TMNT Comic sets at the Ollie’s on Madison Boulevard.
Any Canadian Halo fans looking for the Halo Banished Turret it seems to be as of right now instock at TRU: Mega Construx - Halo Banished Turret Building Set
Hey guys, I only recently discovered Mega Bloks/Construx and am so happy! I feel like a little kid again, only now Masters of the Universe, TMNT, not!GIJoe and not!Lego are fully compatible. If only I'd picked up a Technodrome and Rooftop Combat sets before TRU closed. Anyway, here are Kratos and the Masters of the Universe. Next up, Castle Grayskull, then I start the long wait until Fall 2020 for more MotU, with only Moss Man and Prince Adam to tide me over.
Speaking of the long wait, given how much mileage they're getting out of the He-Man torso and loincloth and 3 sets of limbs, I wonder if I can predict the next waves after Fall 2020? Tri-Klops (new head, harness - He-Man body, Fisto sword) Webstor (new head, breast plate, back plate, accessories for back plate - Skeletor body, Weapons Rack rifle) King Randor (new head, armor - He-Man body, Weapons Rack spear, Scareglow cape?) Zodak (new boots - Zodac head and accessories on He-Man body) Mekaneck (new head, neck, mace - He-Man body, Stinkor armor) Savage He-Man Single-carded Merman (media head) Filmation Hordak (new head, armor - Skeletor body) Ninjor (new head, shirt - Skeletor body, Leonardo katana, Michelangelo nunchaku, Call of Duty bow) Clamp Champ (new head and clamp - He-Man body, Fisto armor) King Grayskull and Battle Lion vs. Hordak (new King Grayskull head/cape, new Battle Lion head/saddle, Hordak gets a cape) Jitsu (new head, right forearm - Fisto body, Randor armor, Leonardo katana) in some set?
I think it'll more, He-man. Skeletor. Beastman. Mekaneck. Teela. He-Man. He-man. He-Man. Wonder Bread He-Man. Pikachu. Merman. Lock Jaw. He-Man. Skeletor. Zodak [not Zodac]. He-Man. Man-at-Arms. Fisto. Jitsu. Skeletor. And then maybe we'll finally get He-Man.
Yeah, but wasn't original retail $250 and TRU still had them at $100? Fred Meyer, a Kroger subsidiary that only exists in WA/OR/ID/AK. Zodac is a fair-skinned alien with a hairy chest. Zodak is a black human, appearing in Season 2 of the 2002 cartoon.
I thought it was $200. But it may've been $250. Either way, almost all of the large TRU sets eventually went on sale. At one point, yes, you may've been able to buy the set for that price. But that was when TRU was a thing and the set sat heavy on their shelves. A few years later, being able to buy for less than retail is still a win even if it is above the $100 mark. Depending, of course, on how much you want it.
These were plentiful in TRU before TRU went down. That's how old this set is. I'm really surprised to see the Mega Construx packaging, because this set was produced before the name change, and the E&L TMNT line had to have been discontinued. None of this makes any sense, just like the rest of MEGA. .
