Same here! Getting some Legends bots to scatter around my desk and I felt like there was no other choice than Herbie and Vanishing Point. Not gonna go insane with them but pretty much the main main G1 cast, with a couple personal additions.

(Autobots: Prime, Bee, Cliffjumper, Ironhide, Ratchet, Jazz, Prowl, Perceptor, Cosmos and Ultra Magnus)

(Decepticons: Megatron, Starscream, MAYBE Thundercracker & Skywarp, Soundwave, Shockwave, Devastator, Blitzwing, Cyclonus, Sixshot and then Galvatron, mainly to use as Grand Ga- I mean Unicorn for my MP shelf)

Pretty much all Newage, ironically. Except for Devy and Cyclonus, Magic Square and Iron Factory respectively. Who knows? I might just branch out from there, haha.

    Guys...
    ... I broke down and in a fit of weakness, I... I paid $500 for a truck.

    Did I make a mistake?

If that truck is an MP-44 then there’s more than meets the eye… it’s not just a truck! If you enjoy complex transformations, brilliant engineering, fantastic articulation, lots of accessories, and Optimus Prime then you’ll get your money’s worth from it. :D

If you paid $500 for an actual truck then you’re probably going to need to put some money into it to get it running. ;)

So I was experimenting around with weapon effects in the context of stop animation filming and found out that Megatron’s blast effect’s peg fits perfectly into the underside of a hollow LEGO stud!!

Only the thicker of the two sizes of cylinder at the base of the effect part create the friction that holds the lego piece on, but the connection is as good as any other LEGO element!!

I can imagine how this would be super useful for dioramas too!!

    I don't think so :)
I've got him, ant I do think he's overpriced (I'd play with him O LOT more if I wasn't afraid of, e.g. scraping his paint), He's a fun toy. So if you used your disposable income rather than something that you need for everyday expenses/rainy day fund, I'd say you'll be happy :)

Posted this on IG the other day my continued appreciation of figures who can cross their arms (or close enough...)

Also still love the “shrug” joint which I keep forgetting about and then rediscovering, only to be delighted all over again :D

The WFC Siege Etc. blast effect parts also fit into Lego pieces. At least some of them do. I used two purple ones to add little thrusters to a Lego R2-D2s feet.
