Quick question, is MP-47 worth it for £120? Thinking about picking him up.

No. I wouldn't advise picking him up yet at all, no matter the price. Until a reissue comes out that has his QC issues fixed, you're investing in a slowly disintegrating figure. He looks amazing, but doesn't hold up to normal careful transformations or even to sitting on a shelf! Most of the cracks on mine developed while I wasn't touching him.

    47 is basically a gamble.

I've gotten 2 good ones (so far) but it's totally a game of chance that isn't worth it for most.

there's a rerelease rumoured to be in production. I'd definitely wait for that, that's what I plan to do.

    With great difficulty :lol

Basically involved a lot of cutting, sanding, more sanding, more cutting, more sanding, shaving the nose, and then a dab of glue to hold it together. Think it was worth it though

Something cool that I just found out a bit ago is the extensive use of clear plastics on MPs where you might not expect it, meaning you could do some really cool stuff with properly placed LEDs:

(And yeah I know the only reason it’s there on Wheel Jack + is because of the original mold but it’s still pretty neat.)

When someone posts a pic of their figures and you see that you have every figure that they have:

    Good morning:

I was wondering if you know if Takara Tomy publishes their reissue dates ahead of time? I’m trying to avoid paying the Collector’s premium in prices now and then finding out a short time later that a moderately priced reissue is coming out. I’m speaking of Masterpiece and Takara Movie The Best lines, mainly.

    Thank you,
    Jim

My other comment was that you need Tracks to be flying from the opposite direction. You know, have both showboats showing off.

I second this question, I'd like a few older figures for not twice as much.
