Got this guy recently.
No breakage problems.
I think he look pretty good.
Except his head does float like 1 mm above the car hood.
Happy with it.

 

There’s a way to press down on the armature and forward on the head to eliminate the gap.

Wow. Great work. Love it. How much time do you have in that? What are the external dimensions and how is it supported? Are the mountains carved from insulation board and did airbrush on desert rock color on?

 

Thanks. It was fun to use new techniques while making his diorama.

Time: A week so far and I’m planning on adding to it.

Dimensions: 4ft length, 2ft width, 2ft height. Once I add to it, the width will increase to 4ft and designed as a modular base means that I can build to suit.

Support: Magnets in various parts of the base and background panels.

Pink insulation foam and DAP’s Patch n Paint was used to create the diorama and I used pain brushes and dry brushing. I used a hotwire foam cutter to carve the foam into what it looks like now.
