Thanks. The pose isn’t perfect but I thought it looks pretty close. I came across the picture while looking up emblem placement for Maverick and thought I’d try this shot.

I’m curious, how big should mp battlechargers be? Trying to decide if my old club ones can be ported over to my mp scale shelf after the wfc ones come out

Out of all my MPs, this guy is the one with the least QC issues - which is absolutely none. Not my absolute favorite, mind you (I don’t really have any connection to Inferno, whatsoever), but he’s my most solid, well ratcheted, well painted, almost perfectly articulated, and overall fun-to-handle figure.

My absolute favorite is between MP-41, MP-43, and MP-44, but there’s always some level of fear that I’ll chip their paint during posing (which I already have) or maybe one of their ratchets might give out (hopefully Dinobot’s arm is okay!). With Inferno, I never have to worry about ANY of those issues and he’s a total joy to pose!

In conclusion, I just took him out of the Detolf to mess with him this morning and wanted to share my thoughts.

I completely agree, and consider this figure to be the high water mark for the MP line. It just does everything right.
Inferno was one of the figures I grew up with as a kid, but have no recollection of his character on the cartoon. Either way, this toy just screams at me, and I love it.

Some days I still wish I bought YOTH Prime. For a deco that had no basis on any previous incarnation of Prime, that deco was well done! Deco-wise, figures like YOTH Prime and Delta Magnus(which I have), stick out to me.

Also the deco for MP-43 Megatron holy crap! THAT is amazing deco. At some angles it's hard to tell if you're looking at a screen grab from the show or the actual toy. It was cool to see in-hand how it transformed much like my old ultra class BW Megatron from 1996, aside from the fiddly panel bits(mine has the stress marks too! I just fold them carefully and cross fingers they never crack).
That figure blew me away the 1st time I transformed it. I thought Ironhide was pretty solid. Then I handled Inferno and was surprised it was even more solid! Satisfying figure all around. I ended up getting Grapple and Artfire not just because I like those characters(especially Artfire) but due to how solid Inferno was. That swapping car part for toon or toy accuracy is neat too.

Part of the reason I want to see an MP Jazz is because of STEPPER! I want more Targetmaster MP's! Headmasters would be nice too.

As much as I love the newer releases the constant QC issues are putting a damper on my enthusiasm. We've got MP 50 and Raiden on the horizon but im more concerned with them fixing their issues. I tend to get pretty luck QC wise but its kind of a bummer reading about other board members issues, it takes away some of the fun of release. At this point 48 is already done so for all intents and purposes 49 will be a "reset" where they will get a chance to fix some of the underlying issues whatever they are. Kind of like how Hot Rod, Ironhide, and Ratchet are had chrome problems but were "fixed" by the next cycle of production with Inferno.

I'm the same as you. Never had any attachment to Inferno but got him on a whim. Now I want Grapple just because I'm curious to see how awesome he is too.

Just received Grapple on Monday and finally had a moment to transform him today. What a fantastic figure! This is what a Masterpiece should be like. The moments folding up the crane and fitting it into the back/chest area was darn amazing. All the accessories are pretty great as well. All old news to most, I know, but I just had to share...

I'd say it's not outside the realm of possibility. What is the source you heard this from?

Same here. The paint is so thick and sturdy. All joints have just the right tolerances. Such a joy of a toy!

Okay, so I’ve narrowed it down to three MPs that I’d possibly want at this time. Just need your guys’ halp.

    MP-39
    MP-47
    or
    MP-13

    Who should I get?!?!

MP-39. Hands down a fantastic figure. I’d wait for a reissue on Hound for perhaps some improved QC.

That’s what I was thinking. I found MP-39 and MP-13 on Amazon Japan for about $100 each, but I really want MP-47 too. Although, ever since Sunstreaker came out, I wanted him, so I think that should’ve been an easy choice!

I do need more Decepticons though haha. ;)

Unless I miss my guess, a Soundwave 2.0 can’t be far away. No Soundwave+ has been announced, and we even had a last ditch reissue. He’s on his way :)

I’d hop right on that. I’m also hoping for a Starscream 2.0 in the near future, so fingers crossed. I’d get both of those in a heartbeat!

Agreed! Screamer begs for an update. TT hasn’t even tried to + him because they know it’d be the equivalent of lipstick on a pig (as a metaphor, not insulting the figure for those of you that love him).
