Thanks, bros! I did the same thing with MP-10 after AKOM Hot Rod was released but it just didn't work as well. I loved MP-10, but MP-44 is the Optimus figure I've always wanted but didn't even dare dream about because I didn't think he was even possible until 36 Megatron came along. What a difference eight years makes! Can't wait to see what the next eight years brings :)

Thanks, Arie, that's the best compliment! And yet, it's the figures that are doing all the work! So alive!

I have to retake the pic, since it came out too dark, but just wanted to say that I'm LOVING the MP-44!
If you put a cel-shaded filter on a pic like this, it would be almost impossible to tell it from the original cartoon frames!
    With MP-36 they're pure gold!

Thank you so much man, and I gotta say your MP-45 photos along with @Sam's have me far more excited than any of the video reviews out there!

That is a stunningly clean and beautiful shot!

That looks so incredibly striking without the gold! I would have trouble getting rid of something that gorgeous and unique too, even if it's not the latest mold...kudos on sending it off with your daughter though :thumb

Just found out that the new Matrix that came with MP-44 is compatible with MP Ultra Magnus and Hot Rod.

Love your story about your YotH MP-10, @Yaujta ! Also, great shots of MP-29! As + editions have been released I've taken the og figures out of my collection with the exception of 29. I have the og and the + but I love 'em both!

Turns out 44 Prime pulls off a great squat pose!

Hey folks, I did a couple of OP vs Megatron pics for the #sevendaysofprime event that's been going on over on Instagram. I'm sure you'll get the loose references!

This thread is for the appreciation of all official MP's. The split Specuation threads were done so to allow for more focused discussions for releases from (now) three MP lines.

Today... Faceplates! I've always been partial to bots with faceplates or atypical faces, like Shoockwave. It just seemed cooler to me as a kid.

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Now, I wanted to complain a bit. Not excessively, I promise! Although I love Soundwave, I think he deserves a new toy. His posability is limited, and like the new reissue, the one I have has more scuffs on the silver bits than I think is appropriate for a toy. Not an MP. but toy in general. I also don't like the fact that the paint on the bottom of his feet scrapes of so easily. Not that I dislike MP-13. He's fun, Soundwave also isn't a bot who really needs that much posability, so it's not bad, but there certainly is room for improvement. But if they do a 2.0, I'm getting it. That period of the MP line has aged, and although I don't need to replace my collection with newer versions, there are some that I would consider: Sideswipe; I'd also get a Prowl 2.0, but this is solely motivated by my love of Prowl - The Datsun mold is great IMO. Paint chipping is the only aspect of this hobby I dislike.
