@Robotmonkeys , congrats on your own big Masterpiece release! Life is good!

Like @Shockwave81 says, it's great seeing the MP love in here, especially the variety! I don't collect BW or MPMs but love admiring their photos. Great seeing some Jet Bros appreciation, too! If I had to pick, Thrust is my favorite. His yellow eyes, burgundy/grey/black color scheme, and unique wing shape make him the real standout on my shelf.

So, I just want to throw this out there for you, in case you aren't aware of it; but Amazon Japan is almost unanimously the place to get these from. I get bbts it local, but my pre-oder price from Amazon Japan was like $220 with shipping or something, and $318 for Convoy V3 shipped. I *COMPLETELY* agree that I would never pay the prices the local Etailers sell these at I'm not saying bbts isn't a great company to deal with, but I stopped using them, because I like my money more than their services, lol. And if something goes wrong with an item with Amazon Japan, yeah, I have to ship it back, but they reimburse that cost once they receive it, and they pay the shipping back for any replacements, if I'm not mistaken. Knock on wood, I haven't had to do that..

I'm undecided. The articulation might win me over in the end.

I think the feet are ugly. The backpack is ugly. But the cartoon accuracy is still so good. Especially in alt mode. Luckily both figures do different things so if one isn’t right for you, the other one might be.

Good articulation is a massive buying point for me, but I think I'll pass. He does look good, though some parts could be better IMO (the standard complaints ;)  ). Ultimately I like Bee, but not enough to spend so much on the new version. I actually got the original MP Bee more as a completionist and because he was fairly cheap. I do think he has his perks though, and if I didn't have the previous version I'd probably go with the new one.

Definitely a fair and good point. I used to preorder all my MPs through Anime Export and found that to be one of the best options... I never researched pricing on the 3 MPs in question (G1 Megs, BW Megs, Prime 3.0) since even the discounted rate was over what I was willing to spend. I was basically in a KO or nothing situation... I won on MP Megs in that department and predict I will with Prime... I just decided to cave here since I was in a dry spell of new figures and need -somebody- on the shelf when BA arrives :D

So my MP Sunstreaker has been stuck in robot mode for the past few months because of cracks in the hinges of his leg flaps
    20191014_134704.jpg
Every time I would move it, the piece would stress more and was about to break off. So I put some filler glue on the crack to stabilize it then took an exacto knife to the center piece to round it off.
    20191014_134717.jpg
Now the flaps can move without the unnecessary stopping points causing the issues. It was so much fun getting to transform him without worrying about him breaking! That, and I put the new Reprolabels window stickers on him. He's pretty happy now!

Man ! Those stickers really make that figure look as if it’s straight outta the cartoon ! I had to adjust my glasses to make sure it was the toy I was looking at ! Nice job .
