What really upsets me about MPM-7 is that it's inaccurate; he was made when the artists behind the film weren't entirely sure where the movie was gonna sit, world/timewise.

Ahh, yeah then I say go with MP-40+ since you'll be happier with him over MPM-07.

Edit: Also to make my post more in line with the appreciation. I wanted to display my MPs in a more active position so changed them around. The Autobots are trying to get Tigertracks back to safety while the Decpticons decided to try and convince him to join their ranks.

Sorry guys I only have MP36 and MP39 until the newer guys get released. You'll have to humor me until then ;)

Common mistake, but it’s Tigertrack, not Tigertracks. I used to do the same thing for years.

Nice shelf set up. Reminds of how dark my shelves are and how much I can't really see.

@Dean ML Thank you, and yes I got rid of him as well as all of my doubles. I will pick up MP29+ in the very near future. He is one of my favorites if not my favorite, very striking figure.

Can't wait for MP44, 45, 47, 19+ and the rest of them to come!

Thanks, mine are not lit so they are pretty dark otherwise. This one shot was taken with the window blinds opened a bit to let some natural (reflected) light in.

My shelves are all a darker stained wood grain. It doesn't reflect any light even with the blinds open. I need to get some LEDs to light them up.

I'm torn on getting that MP-29+ myself. I like the darker purple. Just not sure if I should pull the trigger since I have the original.

OK, so I'm getting out of collecting,* and I have been doing a lot of thinking about the toys I gathered. Needless to say, there will be a lot of appreciation! I will also be updating my collection pics from the proper forum (see link in signature), but that'll take some more time, as some things are on preorder (e.g. MP-44). I'd also like to discuss the pleasures (and drawbacks) of collecting if anybody is interested.

I love looking at other people's collections (@Sam @Dean ML @Destructimis Prime @TigerBlade @Phamduc - I've probably hinted at this or said it straightforwardly, so to repeat I absolutely love your pictures, and how you display your toys! @Jdk504 I loved your display, can't wait to see what it'll look like after the changes; @Jetbolt those pictures outside are wonderful, regardless if its a BW MP or a CHUG! and many others, it would be to much to list everybody here). It actually is a pleasant activity, and one of the reasons why I'm here. So maybe other people who like looking at pictures of toys will enjoy that :)

*basically I have most of the toys I want to have, and space is scarce - In Europe we tend to live in smaller apartments - mine is about 206 square feet (63 sq meters), and I'm ok with that, helps with moderation. I still will be waiting for some, like a nice Blitzwing, but basically I'm done... and happy with my collection! :)

In the meantime, here's a grower. Admittedly, the mold has its limitations. I got him two years ago as a birthday present from my parents, and when he came I was disappointed. Articulation was substandard, but I was absolutely flabbergasted by the gaps between his intakes on the shoulders and his chest. This is supposed to be a masterpiece? But still there was something in him, the ease with which you could pose him into a stance that made him look haughty and regal. So he became my deskbot one day, and I started toying with him, and discovered how to minimize those gaps. Soon, i started understanding why people enjoy him, and why they spend a lot of money on this mold. Not perfect, but with character. I'll be sticking with him for the foreseeable future.

I heard that the Starscream head that comes with MP-44 will fit on this MP-11. I wonder how that will look. I'll find out soon enough :)

[Edit: removed first sentence, as I wrote it when I though about including a picture of a set of figures, where there are more 3Ps than MPs]

Got Loudpedal a week or so ago, and have to say it is probably the best Hastak/Official MP carbot that i have. All the joints are the Perfect tightness, the gloss black is beautiful, and the paint aps are flawless! Best of the 3 Vets in my opinion :)
